A must read if you want to fire up your passion
What an inspiring book. I've always felt like I live on an island at most places I work, but this book made me feel like there are many other castaways and if we just speak up we can find each other and up the ante on our creativity and passion.I loved it.

Inspiration is at the center of organizational culture
For all the money, time and resources that are thrown at culture work in organizations, Stefanovich nails the simplicity of what culture is really all about. Whether you are inspired by his real life stories and results, or by his tips and ideas for injecting some life and energy into your organizations the book is an inspiration in and of itself. Great, fun read.

Be Innovated and create a better book
Too much story telling--get to the point. It could be done in half the pages. He could be more innovated and create a different more exciting book. I wish I could get my money back.

Innovative Ways to Increase Creativity
It seems oxymoronic to say that there is a framework for increasing creativity. But that is exactly what Andy Stefanovich has created in Look at More.More and more businesses are looking much too similar. If there is nothing to separate you from your competitor, your business will be doomed to compete on price which is an extremely poor business model.Additionally we have moved from a manufacturing economy to a knowledge based economy. In a knowledge based economy it is imperative that workers be fully engaged. They want/need to contribute based on their purpose and passion. Hierarchy management with direction and instructions coming from central headquarters is no longer a viable business model. You have to shake things up, take new and bold approaches.Andy says there are five Ms that make up the framework for increasing creativity. They are: Mood, Mindset, Mechanisms, Measurement and Momentum. There is a chapter devoted to each subject. The book is very interesting. There are numerous stories and examples of "field trips" where Andy and his team engaged various companies to get way outside their normal thinking. In the process of some rather wild and seemingly unconnected adventures the various companies were able to find the magic they were looking for.In my opinion, the book starts a little slow but the more you get into it, and the more you open up to what the author has to say the more interesting and informative the information. There are some very interesting stories that Andy uses to get his message across. It might be a bit difficult for the logical types to get into the book. But the business landscape is changing and if you want to keep up with the way things are trending, you need to understand and adapt to more creativity in your business. Some really great ideas and exercises in the book. Well worth reading.

Throw away the box - just apply this book, and you'll think at a whole new level
If you're tired of the phrase, "Let's think out of the box," then this is simply a great book. It will help you, and your creative team, think out of the box without resorting to that tired cliché. Rich with illustrative stories from boots-on-the-ground experiences I found this a fun read, albeit deep enough I had to resort to a couple of chapters at a time, and good highlighter. There is a lot of good stuff and I wanted to absorb it to affect change on my team.I've shared a link to this book at Amazon with various folks, and without exception they have also applauded his work.If you want to make a difference, and yes, think "out of the box," then this book is a catalyst to help you achieve that end.Enjoyed it.Steve Hargis

Useful Ideas for Finding Insights
Contains useful methods for finding and promoting a inspiration, creativity, and ultimately innovation in environments that seem purpose-built to suppress these concepts. With so many sources of inspiration all around us, it's sad that so many businesses are uninspired. At one point in the book the author challenges you to quickly write down 100 ideas for your business. Well I accepted the challenge and actually got some great ideas from the exercise. A couple of my favorite tidbits:One of the jobs of a leader is to set the mood of the organization.Look for thoughts, not solutions. When someone says "we can't afford to" counter with "we can't afford not to"

excellent toolbox for innovation and creativity
Andy Stefanovich has done us all a great favor by writing this book. He's opened up the toolbox he's created from working on innovation for over 20 years and laid out all his secrets for inspiring creativity. He explains a systematic approach and makes it accessible through step-by-step instruction and examples from all kinds of companies. It's the kind of resource I know I will find myself continuing to return to for ideas and inspiration. -- denise lee yohn
