I bought this for splitting a deer pelvis when field dressing the animal. Works great for that purpose.It's very compact, lightweight, and portable, so it's perfect for bringing along on trips.Also seems well constructed. It's durable, sharp, and the yellow part of the handle is extra grippy.I once used it to chop down a small tree near my stand when it was all I had with me. No complaints.

I was surprised when I lifted this thing. It's heavier than it looks and a lot more solid built than expected. I was looking for a really light duty hatchet so I got more than intended. I was looking for something like I had years ago that was half the weight of this one but I'm 100% happy.

Not used this in anger yet. Feels fantastic in the hand, well balanced and very sure grip material on the handle. Good sheath. One star deducted because the blade / head has a lot of surface imperfection (not smooth like in the photo) - hopefully only a cosmetic issue. Not a lightweight, but I wanted something with a little heft, so that is good with me. Good deal at the sale price of $20.

Used it for yardwork. Very helpful. Perfect tool for simple maintenance.

This is a quality tool for my cabin in Northern Arizona. I looked at many brands and this one was perfect.

I don't know what the opening is for that is at the handles end, but all I keep thinking about is a possible spiders hideout! I will have to duck tape over this before use.

I’ve used it a few times now, good sturdy, solid piece to keep around the hunting camp, cabin.
