Big Prawn Company Big & Juicy Crayfish Tails, 100g

These make prawns overrated. Delicious. I don't think I'd buy prawns again after tasting these.

I love crayfish more than prawns. So it is nice to see it is available to buy online. I use lettuce and cocktail prawn sauce with it to make delicious salad.Losing 1 star as the picture is misleading. I know crayfish is relatively expensive but the picture makes you thinking we are getting a lot where in reality it only comes in a tiny pot.

I just love these. Fantastic snack mixed with chopped avocado and Marie Rose dressing. Try it

I never leave reviews, however this when I lifted it from the bag of food delivered, I was so shocked. It does not look anything like the picture and instead is in a small round pot and just about half filled - a pot such as one, you would receive when purchasing hummus or sour cream and chive, only much much lighter. To add to my dismay they didn’t taste very nice either, incredibly watery, had no firmness to the tails - like fresh crayfish does, I may as well have saved the, well just shy of £5.00, and bought a bag of tiny prawns that are used for cooking. At least then I may have actually tasted some flavour - I am just so shocked and disappointed, with the packaging, the advertisement, what I actually received and the flavour. For £4 at my local fish market, I would receive 500g of freshly caught crayfish tails - that is some markup the Big Prawn Company have, for their ‘so called’ Big & Juicy Crayfish Tails.

Not worth the price. Picture is deceiving. An extremely small container. Expensive for the amount you get.

Box nothing like as big as pic would have you believe.Ditto the fullness of box and double ditto the size and juiciness of the "crayfish".Plus the 'removed' guts had been left in the pack,with a nice big chunk of shell for good measure.The cat enjoyed it but was still hungry after.Poor show.Avoid.
