HDMI to RCA Cable, 1080P 5ft/1.5m HDMI Male to 3-RCA Video Audio AV Cable Connector Adapter Transmitter for TV HDTV DVD(NO Signal Conversion Function)

I ordered this to use an older VCR. I was unable to get a signal through to the TCL 4K TV. tried an older DVD player and same result, no signal. I think the technology in these new TVs are not backwards compatible. But then TV shows channels not in HD.

Did not Work.New Samsung TV has 2 HDMI inputs and one HDMI Output. No RCA ports on the TV. Trying to connect to older Sony home theater that has several outputs but not HDMI. THis cable appears well made and I spend several hours working through menus on the TV and researching how to set it up.I am trying to get the signal to from HDMI to RCA (the correct direction) but in the end, was not successful. THinking the output is digital and needed input is analog?Finally got a bluetooth to RCA converter (TV has bluetooth) and that worked.I plan to return this cable.

I also fell into the trap that so many others have. I tried to connect a soundbar with RCA to a TV HDMI. That's not how this product works.

Works fine. No issues.

Got it and it didn’t work. Made sure that the blue ray worked, also tried it if it was reversed (rca to hdmi) still nothing both products came bad. Will be sending them back. Please note that this was my experience and I may very well have just been unlucky.
