Our old chairs (we are getting a bit older ourselves) are really too low to the ground now at 7" so we got some newer ones. This one is a good quality chair but at 11" it is still too low to the ground for my wife (recent neck and knee surgeries). And it does not lay flat like our old low-boy 7" chairs. It does have backpack carry straps and the pouch in the back is removable, both positives. It's just too low for her so we got a higher (13") chair which she can use - barely. One star off for not laying flat - there IS a Rio chair this high that does lie flat, I bought that one for myself and It's fine.

Finally a chair without a cross bar two inches under your butt. Overtime the canvas stretches and your sitting on the cross bar. Annoying. But not this one. Comfortable. A bit too much clicks and snaps but well made product.

Not only did I receive a product that was well-worn in from previous use (from the obvious sand sand-crunching sound when I flattened it out and then the many scratches), but it’s the completely wrong chair. The advertisement features a backpack with a cooler component at the bottom. This does not have that (see photo). The backpack is indeed detachable, and has more closure than another model of these that I have. These will be returned.

My son in law loves this chair!!! Especially since my daughter can’t figure out how to fold it up (to be fair it can be difficult). He thinks it’s great because she won’t steal his chair.

Chairs were lightweight and so easy to carry.
