Love the Teach Yourself Visually computer books
This is the 3rd edition. It's up to date as of the summer of 2020 meaning what you see in the book is what you see on your screen. It'a little pricey but it's also new. It's well worth it. What an easy way to learn!!!

It’s easy to understand “Teach Yourself Visually Windows 10” book.
Since I’ve been retired for several years I was not up to date on windows 10. I just purchased a HP laptop that operates with a windows 10 platform. I purchased the windows10 Teach Yourself VISUALLY (Tech) book as it not only describes how to do functions with Windows 10 but also shows by visual aid examples how to perform functions. It’s very easy to follow those instructions as they are labeled in order (1, 2, 3, Etc. ) how to perform tasks. And its not described by overly techie speak. You don’t have to read the whole book either to get an answer. . Just go to the index & find the particular task you are unfamiliar with & follow instructions by visual aid. The only con is the visual examples are a bit small. But Not so that it hinders your understanding of what it is you want to do. This book has helped me tremendously.

Excellent book
Unlike many text books this book is very easy to learn from. I purchased this for my husband who had just purchased a computer to replace his old Windows 7 computer. This book goes step by step with color pictures illustrating what your screen should look like. I recommend it as a great learning tool for newbies to Windows 10.

Great book in a small text size!
This is a really good book. Unfortunately, being 88 years old, I would have preferred to be in a bigger text size. That would make it easier for the people like me to read it.

Disappointing
After finally being forced to switch from Windows 7 to Windows 10, I was looking for some guidance on what had changed. Unfortunately this book is way too basic. Unless you haven't used a computer at all before there is little information here that you couldn't easily figure out on your own. For anyone new or unfamiliar with past versions of windows it would be a good introduction. It is well laid out and easy to follow. But don't expect any depth. There is no mention of any hidden functionality such as Diskmgmt.msc for example, i'm sure there must be many. One particularly galling omission is the failure to mention Fast Startup, a nasty little addition to Windows 10 that causes any number of problems. Microsoft, by-the-way, appears to not want you to turn this off so it periodically changes how that is done. The method used, if you can eventually find one, seems to depend upon how old your version of Windows 10 is.

Great visual aid for beginners users of Windows 10. As advertised.
I have found this product to be a very useful and easy to follow a new user of Windows 10. The step- by- step visual guide to learning how to navigate this new operating system has helped me immensely. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that is new to Windows 10.

Not a worthy or helpful read
This book is as obscure as Windows 10 itself, and not up-to-date; it's a Third Edition. (Newer editions are Fourth.)I struggled as much with this book as I did (and do) with Windows.A sorry purchase by me.

Easy to follow.
This book is to replace an earlier Windows 10 book that did not live up to the job. Only arrived today but on first perusal gives plenty of detail that the other one missed out on. Information you can turn to when you have a problem, rather then leafing backwards and forwards through the index trying to locate something the author had never heard of. I am sure this will be a regular go to! It is unfair to award four stars instead of five. But the packing was disappointing. The bottom right corner had been folded back in a crease. That is the stiff glossy cover and first two pages. It is not enough damage to pack it up and send back for a replacement, but a brand new book looking tatty like this!!! I have computer books over fifteen years old (Word 2000) still looking pristine.
