love using this not only for my cutting boards
love using this not only for my cutting boards, but to give my oak dining room table a treatment. The wood soaks it up and the top looks healthy and beautiful.

we have fun with it
My husband and I have taken up cooking. Being recently retired, we have fun with it, but are also budget minded. I spent months researching to find the best hard wood cutting board for our kitchen. So when I finally made my decision to buy Catskills end grain cutting board, I was going to take equal care with the maintenance of it. The cutting board needs to be coated on both sides in clear, clean, food grade, healthy oils. The oils protect the board from harboring germs. I, of course, want my board to be an enhancement to my kitchen, and being the very anal retentive, germ phobic person I am, the oil, is as important as the board. I did my research on Clarks cutting board oil, before I purchased it. The reviews that had on their oil ( citrus one) were excellent. I was impressed. But I didn't want my board to smell of orange, I wanted a calm smell. So when I found out about Clark's new one, with rosemary and lavender oil, I took a chance and purchased it. Here was my thinking process; after my research, Clark's stood out as the best oil, but the one that was reviewed and talked about a lot was an orange-lemon blend oil. That one had five stars. So obviously, I could count Clark's as a good, trust worthy company. But they had recently come out with a Rosemary-Lavendar oil. Not a lot of reviews for that one yet. But truthfully, I trusted them to be a good company. I trusted them to have a good oil because of the 5 stars for their citrus one, and I took a chance. I really wanted the smell of lavender in my kitchen and on my board.... So I bought it and waited for arrival. We had not yet used the cutting board, it was going to be treated before we cut on it. When the oil arrived, the smell was intoxicating, and natural and healthy and beautiful. The oil soaked right in. We loved treating our cutting board and watching how quickly the beautifully scented and food grade quality soaked in. We are now on our second bottle, and love the clarity, smell and perfection of this oil. I feel confident that I did a good job with my research. I have a beautiful cutting board, and am enamored with the quality and fragrance of Clark's oil. I won't even think of buying anything else.

So glad I bought this.
I am very satisfied with the quality of this oil as well as its subtle fragrance. I have used one bottle in six months to routinely cover two large counter-top cutting surfaces, three cutting boards, a dozen of wooden utensils, and handfuls of wooden spreading knives. I have seen a much better performance and life in my wooden utensils.

Smells good and works great
Smells good and works great. I bought my first expensive cutting board and noticed how dry it was. I rubbed the oil into it with the cutting board and it not only protected the board but brought out the rich colors of the wood . Awesome product.

Smells wonderful and works great.
This is fantastic for my butcher block countertops. It's even fun to put it on. Rosemary and lavender are two of my favorite scents and I wish they sold it by the gallon in that scent.

Great product
I love the smell and it keeps my cutting board nice and moisturized! I also use the wax to keep it protected.
