EXCELLENT VALUE ~ GREAT CAPABILITIES ~ GREAT LITTLE CHAINSAW
The Hyundai 1600w / 230v, 14" Bar Powerful Electric Chainsaw is terrific value for money.Compact, easy to assemble, easy to use, quiet compared to a screaming two stroke engine and efficient.Bought as a hand, easy to use saw when you have power nearby. Simple to start, unlike my big chainsaw !I bought the Hyundai chain saw, three spare blades and a litre of C/S oil for just under £100.The round open the C/S to put the chain on and tension it works well. If the chamber fills up with cuttings then you can't tension the chain properly, so UNPLUG the power and open the C/S up, clear out the debris. put it back together and check the oil and retention the chain ~ less than 5 minutes !!The chains have a tough job as there aren't that many teeth to cut. When sharp it works wonders and when it starts going blunt ~ CHANGE THE CHAIN ~ it can only cut so much and still be sharp. With a set of sharp chains you can change the chain and start again in just a few minutes. Just save the chain sharpening for a rainy day job in the shed/workshop/kitchen.For a little electric chainsaw I can recommend the Hyundai 1600w / 230v, 14" Bar Powerful Electric Chainsaw from Amazon. Don't forget your spare chains and oil.As for the bonus ~ it has a three year warranty !!!

Hyundai 16 inch HYC 2400E MODEL CHAIN SAW
The chain saw itself is brilliant. No problems putting it together. The chain saw blade that came with the chain saw was rubbish. I only used it for 2 hours and had to buy some more blades ( savior3 16 inch chain saw blades ) Also had to buy chain saw oil as the chain saw comes without any. After these problem have used the saw for 4/5 hours today cutting 2/3 inch logs and branches, and Ican honestly say the chain saw has performed very well. I would have given it 5 star but the chain saw blade let it down.

compact and fantastic for women
I’m extremely impressed with the Hyundai Lightweight 14" Electric Chainsaw 1600W! This chainsaw is powerful yet lightweight, making it incredibly easy to maneuver, even during extended use. The 1600W motor provides more than enough power for cutting through branches and small to medium trees with ease. It starts up quickly, and the chain stays sharp even after heavy use. The build quality is solid, and it feels durable and well-constructed. The safety features are great, giving me peace of mind while using it. It’s a fantastic tool for both novice and experienced users. Highly recommend this chainsaw for anyone looking for an efficient, reliable, and user-friendly option!

Really nice chainsaw you feel safe using.
Fantastic chainsaw and far better than a petrol one for general garden use. No more storing oil and petrol and horrible fumes while you work. The chainsaw is comfortable in the hand and operates similar to a petrol chainsaw. It still takes oil and the level is visible through a small window at the side of the handle. It has a 16" bar and comes with a really good branded Oregon chain. Its a breeze to set up and has a brake which needs to be disengaged before use, just like a petrol chainsaw. There are three status LED lights which indicate when its ready for use, in use and if your unlucky enough to have caused it.....overloaded. The big advantage of this one over all the other corded electric chainsaws I have seen is the very, very long 12 metre lead, another bonus is the 3 year manufacturers warantly as standard and Hyundai a rapidlly becoming a leading manufacturer of garden tools.I have only used it for small tasks so far, including felling one cedar tree in my garden, which It did effortlessly. I would have no hesitation using this on a large, old tree if it needed cutting down and its perfect for old, woody shrubbs. I highly recommend it.

Waste if money and a lot of aggravation
I'm not surprised this chansaw is not currently available. Bought in February 2021 it lasted a week or so. The revs were variable even when just switching it on. It came with a Mickey Mouse chain (thin with short cutting teeth). It is underpowered and I found it very frustrating it was taking twice as long to do any cutting, compared with all other chainsaws I have used. There was a flash from within just after switching on, and it was dead. Then started the aggravation which lasted months. Hyundai refused to replace it saying that because I had cut the cable by accident, it had rendered the saw defunct. This was not so because I had used it for a couple of days after. They did not send a replacement until August only after I had told them I had involved Kent Trading Standards and reminded them of my basic statutory rights. I did not use the replacement until just before Christmas. Same variable revs and feeling of lack of power. It lasted one hour. The chain flipped of (and believe me, I was careful with its assembly) and in the two or three spins before the blade stopped spinning, it stripped the inside of the adjusting mechanism and the top of the pins holding the rail. It then needed adjusting after every cut. Finally the motor would not turn (a different problem that suddenly started) and the lighting stayed on red, as though there was a fault with the internal braking. I could go on but you get the idea. Rather than battle with Hyundai again, I cut off the length of cable and plug for use elsewhere and dumped the saw in the recycling. An £82 plug and bit of lead is what I come away with, with most of the tree pruning around our place still needing doing. I replaced it with an Einhell, a proper saw and cheaper. Obviously I do not recommend the Hyundai.
