Was not entirely clear this was the German Disc. However English language all present and correct and a decent image transfer. The movie itself is a classic, perhaps Waters finest work. A masterclass in Black Comedy with a standout performance from Kathleen Turner. Those that have not seen this yet are missing out.

Love this film and had not seen in in years so was thrilled when I found it online. Bought it on blu-ray and, after seeing what other reviewers had written about the transfer quality, I wasn't expecting it to be great. To be fair the picture quality is not that bad, most definitely watchable. We have to keep in mind that these films were not made to high definition quality that we are used to now.The film is brilliant though, one to watch if you like humour with a darker edge.

Ordered it and had it in less than 12 hours!!! Oh yes it’s a good weird film but it is John Waters .... not seen it since I had a VHS copy ... so for a long time!

Received item very quickly. I live in the United States and I'm very impress with the UK Royal Post delivery. Always love this movie and we in the US do not have this movie in a blu ray format. I'm glad that it was a region free version of the film. I would recommend friends to use the Amamazon.co.uk website.

I've loved this movie since I first saw it when I was just 10 years old and it has been one of my all time favourites ever since! I had previously owned the out-of-print DVD which when lent out to a friend was NEVER returned. So when I saw the opportunity to upgrade I jumped at the chance to get this Blu-ray!The film itself is perfect, I've seen it hundreds of times and it's as good as I remembered BUT it appears Universal have just used the same film print used for the DVD and just up scaled the image as for Blu-ray - the quality isn't where it should be. The image is noisy, full of dust and grain and hasn't been remastered since the DVD was released. There are no special features available, not even a trailer which is puzzling as the US edition has a commentary track & a trailer at the very least. This version is about as good as I think we're gonna get for this cult classic which is disappointing but i'll love it all the same

I saw this on TV many years ago and was glad when it was released on DVD. Kathleen Turner had a whale of a time in the lead role and her performance was pitch perfect. Given the serial murders, it's not for the faint-hearted, but it is surprisingly entertaining on a number of levels. Highly recommended.

Love this film and have wanted to get the UK version for a while and it was such great value for money for a blu-ray DVD. Would recommend this film as great laughs throughout the whole film, so glad I got it now.
