Contradictory claims
This is a product of contradictions. It is a dense oil described as "luxuriously light". It claims to be based on science, yet is "100% Vegan". (Is it possible to be 99% Vegan?). "The "best argan oil" claim is in no way substantiated. Nor is there any evidence to support the suggestion that argan oil from Morocco is better or even different from that from Algeria or elsewhere. What annoys me most is that a product which is promoting itself as ethical, has not claimed that it has been sourced from the co-operatives which sustainably protect the argan forests and the rights and livelyhoods of the women working in the industry. I must therefore assume that the oil is not ethically sourced and that this "cruelty free" oil may well be being produced by women earning less than the Moroccan minimum wage, with poor working conditions.Moving on from the ethics. Argan oil is effective at restoring and protecting dry hair. I find it is not noticeably better than using less expensive coconut oil. I do prefer the fragrance of the argan oil. When restoring hair I recommend leaving the oil on for much longer than Beever suggest, before washing.Argan oil is more likely to clog skin pores than other skin oils, so I would not recommend it for skin care. The oil dispenser came in a sealed clear plastic bag. A cardboard box would be preferable to avoid damage in transit and perhaps be more ethical.

Good oil but the container leaks
Mine arrived in a sealed plastic bag with a sachet of shampoo and a sachet of conditioner but when I opened the bag everything was sticky and I had to wash it off. When I tried the oil, it leaked down the bottle so it was all sticky again. I like Argan oil for my hip length hair as the mid-lengths and ends have a tendency to get dry and I find that Argan oil (or coconut oil) helps to combat that and make the ends of my hair shiny. This oil can be applied to dry hair if your hair is very long, I think it would be probably make it too greasy if your hair is short, but if you do happen to apply too much then it is great to leave it in over-night as a deep conditioning treatment; I try to do that once a week. If you've never used oil on your hair before, I would recommend trying it when you know you don't have to go anywhere, just in case you do put too much on, you can leave it in as a treatment; you only want the size of a grain of rice to start with, until you know how much your hair can take. You can also apply it to damp hair, this is how the bottle tells you to use it, and then style your hair in the usual way, for me, that's air drying. I find it more difficult to tell how much I'm applying when my hair is wet but it is easier to comb a smaller amount through it. I'm probably going to just leave this one in the shower since the bottle keeps dripping, and use it on my damp hair.

Too thick and made no difference
My short, very thick, hair is becoming dryer as I get older so I was interested to see how this treatment compare with a similar product from a well known beauty and body shop. I just have to add that Ive never suffered from split ends or frizzy hair so I'm not looking to cure something I don't have.Packaged in a pump action bottle, it came with a sachet each of shampoo and conditioner – which I haven't used yet, mainly because I forgot about them. I found the best way to apply this oil, which is quite thick and not the light” oil I was expecting, was to pump some into the palm of my hand, rub both hands together and then apply to my just-washed-and-still-damp hair. Getting it into the hair evenly is tricky because, as I said, this oil is thick. I used the hairdryer for a couple of minutes because it was a chilly day and I don't like sitting too long with wet hair. So, here I am two days later and my hair doesn't feel or look, any different from before the use of this wonder treatment. I found it too thick and I didn't like the feel of it in my damp hair. I doubt I'll use it again, but will pass it to other family members and see what they think. For me it's a no.

Good quality but pricey.
I have used a couple of products from this brand in the past and this product falls in the same category: it feels like a hair salon product in terms of quality/results you get but it is expensive. In this case, however, I found it weird that they claim this liquid is 'light'. It's oil. Oil isn't light at all. I think it would've been better if they just didn't mention anything at all as I wouldn't have thought anything about the consistency otherwise. I did find it thick to apply to my hair but it did spread fairly well. I felt like I had to be careful not too apply too much at first as it feels like something that would leave your hair greasy if you're not careful.I use it about once a week and I have noticed my hair feels a bit more protected and less dry. I don't think it's a miracle product but it does help keep your hair healthy.Overall, it's good and I found it worked fine on my hair but it is quite expensive. I have tried similar products at cheaper prices that provide similar results.

Oil heavy which is not bad, but alot spilt
Item arrived in a plastic bag with a pair of packs which contained a shampoo and conditioner. Like others pointed out however, item arrived with the oil leaking a decent amount with the exterior of the bottle slick in oil, not something i ever like to see as it really soaks in.Now the oil itself is heavy so a little bit goes a long way. Need to apply very little and work it through your hair then follow up. Apply too much oil to thick and it will make your hair look to slick and greasy which is to be expected. So the comment about it lightweight in product page I have to disagree with. However once on the oil does work reasonably well on the hair. it does make my hair much softer and my hair is extremely brittle and dry. So in all, I do find when used careful the oil does work on hair. However it can be hard to apply and the fact the bottle was leaking everywhere and I do not seem to be a special case here, then its 3 stars. 4 stars if it arrived well.
