This reviewer noted, for example, that the distilleries on the shores of Islay in the Western Isles have their names painted in large black letters on white-washed walls, the better for disoriented mariners to locate themselves.The chapters are arranged by geographic region. The included maps would facilitate planning a visit to these famous establishments. Very well recommended to fans of Scotland and its whisky.

This is a beautiful book. It's well laid out and very informative, only now it makes me want to buy all the single malts described.

Solid book with beautiful photography of the Scottish distilleries. Purchased this for a friend in preparation for a trip to Scotland. Lovely book, great to have on coffee table, with photos and descriptions of the various distilleries. Lovely.

A perfect gift for those who appreciate the Single Malts of Scotland.I ordered it as a Christmas gift for my husband...but simply couldn't wait to give it to him.He reads through pages every night -- with a "wee dram" in hand.We are planning a trip to Scotland in 2016 -- and this book will help form the itinerary.

This book was in our Suite at Cameron House Hotel and i thought it would make a great coffee table book to go along with my whisky collection.It's a great introduction to the Whisky distilleries of Scotland
