I drink a lot of loose leaf tea and have gone through at least a dozen different teapots, strainers and other ways of making it over the years. I've tried at least 3 brands of the premium style integrated teapot strainer like this one and can say that this is by far the best of them.The bottom container is large enough to receive about 3 full steeps from the upper chamber. Since I tend to brew my tea in big batches, this saves a lot of time. The lid on the steeper is attached by a hinge and seals fairly well to the chamber. It seals well enough that if you leave brewed leaves in the chamber overnight, the leaves don't oxidize too much and can still be steeped again. The pour spout works well and doesn't drip. The valve that lets the tea out of the steeping chamber seals very well and doesn't leak when closed.I bought one of these a few years ago and it has gotten daily use at work and is still chugging along. I cheaped out and bought a slightly cheaper brand to save some money afterward and it was just slightly worse in pretty much every way. When I finally got fed up with it, I sucked it up and spent the cash to buy another one of these. They're spendy for a teapot but if you drink a lot of tea, they are worth it.

Suggest the inner-container could be made a little larger and the filter stainless steel.
