On/Off Drip Catcher, Good Universal Cone, Pick Your Pulp, Easy Cleanup
In reality, making orange juice can be a sticky mess. My husband and I used to own a very small citrus grove. We sold oranges, grapefruit, limes, and lemons. We were always making juice for ourselves and others, so there was always a juicer in our house of one form or another. Burned out one or two as well. For us it's about the shape of the cone and the design of the ridges. We no longer own the grove or a juicer, so when our neighbor gave us a whole lot of oranges, I found this one based on the brand. Most of my small appliances are Cuisinart--maybe just my mixer is a MixMaster. This juicer made well over a gallon and a half of juice without a hiccup. I dumped the strainer three times because I dialed back the pulp content. For these particular oranges, it took about 12 to fill the glass pitcher up to the metal band. I transferred the juice into a bigger pitcher to store in the refrigerator. A bag of oranges from the store would easily fit in the glass pitcher stored in the refrigerator until next time. The cone does a great job of scraping the juice out without destroying the peel and making the juice bitter. The holes in the strainer are small enough regardless of the setting--no seeds will get in your juice. You also won't get any of the skins from the segments. Just the tasty part of the pulp.If you rinse the parts off right away, clean up is super easy. No small crevices or hiding places for orange pieces or cracks the juice can settle and make sticky. The on/off drip catcher is a plus for when you're ready to remove the pitcher. It helps avoid a sticky mess on the platform. It has a small footprint and matches the rest of my black and stainless appliances, so I keep it out on the counter, but it's not tall so it will easily fit in a cabinet. The only negative so far is the clear plastic cap wouldn't stay on the top because the plastic tray was slightly out of round from the packaging/shipping experience. However, now that it's been out of the box for a little while it fits and stays on fine.

Awesome Juicer
We purchased one of these after watching a relative use it. It’s efficient and the glass carafe is really a nice touch, with very helpful Ml measure on one side and Oz on the other. We use a variety of juices for a variety of recipes and beverages, and this juicer perfectly fits the bill.

Nice one
The only problem I have is I juice limes and I have to use my hands to hold the limes. I was looking for something that I didn’t need to use my hands for holding the limes

Cuisinart Quality
Nice Cuisinart quality. I shopped around Amazon for about a week looking at all the options for juicers. I had previously owned another brand, but I saw this one and bought it for the name brand. I've never been disappointed with Cuisinart. But the main selling point for me was the glass carafe. The size of the carafe is perfect for one serving or fill it up and put it in the fridge for later. It is a beautiful countertop juicer. Really nice imo. Keep in mind that it is a manual juicer, so you have to press down, sometimes pretty hard, to make the juice. After awhile, my neck and shoulders start hurting, but I am a petite woman, so... I also bought a portable USB automatic juicer for travel and camping and wanted to compare feature with this Cuisinart (auto vs manual). I recommend this manual juicer for it's name brand quality, glass carafe, and style. Would fit nicely next to a countertop Cuisinart coffee maker.

great little juicer
Living in Arizona, we get a great deal of citrus to juice and freeze. I had originally had the juicer attachment to the old cuisinart food processor. When that processor bit the dust, found that the new one didn't have the option to have a juicer attachment. That original one was the best. So fast! I hesitated to buy this, because it was so inexpensive...thought it might not be strong enough to juice a lot of citrus at once. If we had the amount of citrus we used to, it might not handle it all. But for the 100+ lemons we had, as well as about 75 tangelos, it did great. Not as fast as the processor attachment one, but honestly, this did a fine job. We are pleased. Very easy to clean, assemble and use.

Keeps blowing circuit breaker
For this about 1-2 weeks ago being I wanted to start using fresh fruits for juice. I cut in half 6 oranges 🍊 to put with my hand squeezed pineapple. Unfortunately I had to reset the breaker 4x, as I'm guessing it uses a lot of power but after 1 orange or so it blew the breaker. Had to keep running in the basement to flip the breaker 4x. Not sure if I'll keep it, but for now it's going to sit in a box. Yes it was on its own plug as nothing else was plugged in to the outlet.Update: I'm thinking its the plug I had it plugged in to as I just used it yesterday on a different plug and had no issues. I'm going to see if my maintenance man can look at the other plug as it may be faulty. Great little juicer
