DuroMax XP2000iS 2000W Gas Powered Digital Inverter Portable Generator, Blue

I purchased this generator to take to Puerto Rico on Nov 10, 2017. Delta and other airlines had waivers in place to help with the Hurricanes. Delta required that It was new, never used, unopened and in original packaging. The airline has a supervisor come out and inspect it. The guy was very nice and when he found out I was headed to P.R. he didn't charge when it went over 50 pounds by 2 lbs. I took it to my aunts house who had been without power for two months. It runs great and just what she needed because it's very economical on gas. She powers a huge refrigerator that I didn't think would turn on because to my surprise the label said it took 11 amps. My home fridge only needs 6 amps. She also powers her washer with the refrigerator is unplugged. I bought the magnetic drain plug and the an hour meter for it. I recommend you also buy the oil drain extension tube so you don't make a mess changing the oil.Update: After 2 months she put 600 hours on it with no issues. Running synthetic oil and having a magnetic drain plug helps. My aunt got power back in April 2018. Hurricane Maria hit P.R. on 20 Sep 2017.

Runs at 70 decibles standing next to it, 15 feet away I read 60 decibles.

Had to leave gas cap loose to stay running.Works well , ran one tank of fuel through at full load and changed oil.

Filled with oil and gas, started on the first pull. Works great so far.

Awesome little generator at a great price!Filled up with oil, added gas, pulled the starter a few times and it fired up! The green light comes on to show power is being generated. Spools up quickly to deliver higher power needs, and then throttles down when power isn't being used to save gas. Isn't loud at all even when delivering full power.I was a little skeptical buying an off-brand generator, but this is no off-brand! Just as good and as quiet as a similar Honda i've used in the past. I purchased through a different site but wanted to leave a review on Amazon because i didn't see one reviewed on here yet.Love this little machine! Everyone should have one! :)

Starting is simple easy and reliable.Oil change every 50 hours.Silent enough and powerfull enough for a refrigerator.Portable in a small car trunk for camping and power loss in a house.Overcurrent protector works fine.Change oil with a lotion stick cleanen and pour oil with dishwashimg liquid cap it makes oil change easy even for a kid and no need of skill or strenght.Gas comsumption is great a gallon for more tgen 8 hours. Sleep trusting it will run. Pouring gas is hard even with the approved tank. If you have a 1 gallon tamk use it better or glass bottle they help for that controll.Dont know who is saying it does not start please don pay attention to him or her. I recommendeDont run power, tools, microwave, blowers or old washing machines.
