Gypsy: A World of Colour & Interiors Hardcover – April 15, 2014

I was surprised to find that this book is not available for less than $70....many times selling for over $100. The book is full of beautiful pictures and inspirations for decorating in the unusual style that I like and that is hard to find. Yet I don't understand why it is worth so much. I have her book "Nomad" which I like better than "Gypsy" yet it only cost me $27. I don't understand but I got it anyway.

This book presents color and pattern through travel, observation and just plain enjoyment of living in the moment wherever you travel. The book presents ideas for anyone interested in styling their own home or even just a few rooms. I use this book for the artistic ideas of color, texture and shapes as well as the ideas for interesting and beautiful places to travel. There is so much in this book to offer to all interests.

This book was a gift to my most beautiful wife, and I have to admit it even surprised me with great photos and even different tex.......ah no, I dont want to give it all away. Short to say I have now bought her all but one from this author

I have all of her books. The books themselves are a works of art. The paper is wonderful. Her work is always interesting and worth having. The books fit together like a story of places, cultures and colors. Worth having.

Just love the inspirations this book provides!

This book inspires to loosen up, have confidence and work with life's collected treasures that you love and think beyond the "step by step" interior design box, The third of Sibella's books I own . . .just lovely, that I can refer back to for inspiration. If you are looking for more specific concrete guidance . .it may not be for you.

I have Sibella Court's other books. The colors were dim on dark background paper and for a book about palettes I found this disappointiing. A basic rehash of her previous books even though travel to new destinations. The quality of this book just wasn't there in quality of print and color.

This book has a lot of information but I found it difficult to read as the text is over photos or dark backgrounds. Photos are nice but I wasn't thrilled. Similar ideas presented. The author was interviewed in the WSJ which I found more interesting than the book actually.
