I needed this for a specific purpose, it's working just fine.

Have been using this for a while for a tv and entertainement setup and another with a computer setup. So far they have been great and have not tripped without reason or anything bad. They handle a lot of items plugged into it and at time of purchase it was among the best for surge protection rating especially considering the price. Nice size and design is very modern and they have options for different cord lengths.

Material seems cheap BUT it's actually really good. I can have a lamp plugged in and on, my phone charging, and a hairdryer plugged in and on all at the same time, no issues. Obv be careful with this because strips heat up and can start fires quicker than they'll blow a fuse, so don't keep so many high power things plugged in when you're not there to keep an eye on it.

I ordered two of these and tested all of the outlets immediately and they worked fine on both of them, with no difficulty plugging things in like some comments here mention. For the price I paid, at 7 bucks a piece, these were a real bargain. With the 12 foot length I would have preferred they have 12 AWG wire, but these are 14 gauge, which should be sufficient for most uses. If you connect a high current power tool or appliance you may get overheating. Just be sensible about what you plug into it.

I have a battery backup for my computer system and all the peripherals for my internet connection. I am a software engineer that works remote. In organizing everything I mounted the UPS on the wall along with the other equipment and then needed my computers and monitors to be able to reach it. This solved the problem perfectly! Well built and a stout cord so not problem with voltage loss or overheating on over taxing the cheap cords. Since it is a UPS I have no need for surge suppression. Daisy chaining surge suppressors is a bad idea! Also has the mounts on the back side to mount to whatever surface you want.

This is a great little power strip at a very competitive price that gets the job done. Best for end items that do not require large current to function or a sophisticated set of protections. The flat plug is super handy for use behind large furniture that need to be placed close to a wall, making access difficult at best.
