High Quality Product
This 8" shear has a 3 1/4" cut. Decided to forgo buying a tailor's sheer with a longer cut because of the inherent limitations of such, and having to pay nearly double this Amazon offer for comparable high quality. Do not regret this decision after using these Klassische Kuche shears. The sharp edge cuts evenly, precisely all the way to the tip, exactly what is needed when accuracy is a must. Cannot attest to how long the blades will remain sharp as yet. I do know my other dressmaker shears have not met the test of time despite keeping out of harm's way, no scissor-crime like cutting paper, etc. Have not used these for difficult, heavy fabric either, but will not hesitate doing so. So far these have cut thru over 40 yards of material beautifully. Will update this review in a year.

A bit heavier than I thought
These were heavier and harder to open and close than I thought they'd be. I'm sure they are fine for more heavy duty sewers than me but I needed some easy peasy quality scissors for mostly fabric but nothing weighty. I returned them, thank you Amazon.

Scissors are great, but the pouch they came with is torn up.
I like this but the packaging the pouch the scissors came in is pretty beat up. There is a hole at the bottom where the tip of the scissors is poking through and also, a bit ripped on one side.
