I hate to be horrible about this but the only thing that was done right was the fact that it was shipped quickly.the Rollerblades on the other hand broke after the first time my son wore them. and theykeep breaking , the boot ripped apart from the bottom. wheels keep coming off. just yesterday i went out and just bought him a new pair since he has been just so upset. don't waste your money on these,

My grandson spent several hours using the skates. He only tried the helmet and other accessories one time.

The blades were a hit but the other gear was not up to the same standards. These would protect from minor scrapes but nothing major. The helmet is just Styrofoam, no hard plastic. I am only giving a 4 because the skates were the reason for my purchase and the front wheel lights up!!

The skates are ok, but the protective gear is junk. My son learned to skate on these, but once he got better he said that the skates were too slow so we upgraded to rollerblades instead.
