Does it really keep items cold @ 30F? Skeptical!

The specs says cools to 30f BELOW AMBIENT TEMPERATURE. That does not mean cools to 30F. If the room temp is 75, then the cooler will produce 45deg F.

How loud is the cooling unit?

We use the cooler in the car by putting it in the back seat. You really do not know it is running. Bought the 120VAC power supply to plug in at hotels. Runs so quietly, it does not interfere with TV or sleeping in any way. On a scale of 1 to 100 with 1 being horrible, I would give the Koolatron a solid 99.

how long is the power cord that you use in the car?

The standard cord will reach any outlet in your car. I store the frig. On the back seat and run the cord into the outlet in the console. But, it also reaches the dash outlet.

does this fit in a tesla model S front trunk?

The Koolatron D25 is quite compact and can be used in the front trunk
