These Seapoint Farms Dry Roasted Edamame - Spicy Wasabi - are an adventure in spicy hot. Some beans are bland with only a slight hint of flavor, others are just right, with perfect spice and then, just when you start to trust that you can handle the heat, you get that one bean with a blast of heat that knocks your socks off and clears your sinuses. Just like "every flavor beans, some are delightful and some are booger flavored. I love that these come in small packages so I can portion out a few and add to nut mixes. Thanks for the adventure as they always keep me quessing. The package says they are Wasabi, so I am trusting that they are the real thing and not some trumped up mustard.

If you are like me, driving long distance is rough since you are comfortable, warm and bored. A recipe for getting sleepy. If you catch it early enough, these healthy snacks will keep you sharp as a razor. First, you are consuming a nice healthy snack with a pretty good flavor. Second, when you hit a wasabi land mine, BOOM - adrenaline - you are now sharp as a tack. I buy these by the box and leave them in the car.

The reason I didn’t give a five star review? The wasabi coating wasn’t on all of the product. Other than that was very tasty! Expected more wasabi heat. Good deal for the money though

I started munching on these and all of a sudden it was like my nose was on fire!!!! Scared me 1/2 to death. I bought 12 packs of this stuff!! I love the sea salt flavor, and I normally like spicy food, so I decided to try these. BIG mistake! I guess I'll gradually eat them, 1 seed at a time. Will never order these again.UPDATE: I must have just eaten one that had alot of spice on it, cause I've been eating them and so far that was the only one that almost blew my sinuses out. :-) But still not a fan of the flavor.

Not too salty, not greasy at all, it's a good choice if you want some exciting flavor, low fat and protein. For me the only problem is ----why don't we have a 5-lb-pack???I want to live on this thing forever.

Hot, nasty taste. I only opened one pouch and discarded the others in the trash.

These things are great. Tried several other varieties/brands, and these are the best. You will absolutely get some bites that make your eyes water! By far the best edamame snacks I've found.
