Azendus SAM-e Mood Support 400mg, 30 Count, Same Butanedisulfonate Fiber Enteric Coated Tablets

So, after doing a bit of research, I decided to start taking Sam-e for a variety of issues, including depression as a result of perimenopause. I sought out this brand, because it's coated, and less likely to upset the stomach. (I have an ulcer, and didn't want to take any chances).I noticed fairly quickly that I get extremely tired earlier in the day. I generally don't sleep great, so that was okay. But I couldn't keep my eyes open after about 7pm. (I take this pill with my coffee in the morning). After several days of this, I did some more research. I didn't come up with much, except that some people were starting at a lower dose of 200mg. This pill is 400mg, so I thought maybe I could just cut the pill in half. BAD IDEA. DO NOT CUT IN HALF. My stomach wasn't at all okay with this. So, I just stopped taking it for a couple of days, to make sure everything was okay, and then started my regimen over.Do your own research, but some have suggested taking a good Vitamin B-12 complex with this, so that's what I'm doing. I will be sure to mention all of this to the doctor when I finally go in to address my "female health".As for pain, I typically have achiness in my neck and shoulders. It did seem to lessen a bit, but not completely, after starting this product.

This is my first experience with SAM-e supplements, after a lot of research and discussing with my therapist and Ayurvedic doctor, I decided to try it out. Just three days of taking one dose in the morning with food, I felt like a whole new balanced version of myself. I had energy and motivation for the first time in years. Had a couple of bad incidents (deaths, breakup) happen to me, and could feel I was much more emotionally balanced going through them, thanks to SAM-e combined with yoga, exercise, and a healthier diet. 4 months later and I don’t feel the need to go on antidepressants. I tried a couple other brands since then and they still worked, but not as well. I’ll be sticking with this brand.

This doesn't work right away. It takes about 1-2 weeks with daily dosing, but it does seem to bring some body ache relief and boost in mood. I like that this is a cleaner version of Sam -E.

If you're thinking of getting these to split like you can with other SAMe supplements, don't bother. They turn gross and gummy when you do, and you can't return them. $30 down the drain.

Depression and anxiety

Bought these because I thought they would be easier on my stomach than other Sam-E products, but that was not the case. It still upset my stomach greatly and I could not continue taking them.

Been very satisfied. Used another brand for years so was little skeptical switching brands but for the price difference it has been worth it

They seem to be working, as much to everyone's (cat included) horror I find myself singing again. I didn't hear the music for such a long time. It seems to keep the horrible thoughts at bay, at least easier to shake off and my pain level is down to it hurts from omg it hurts so bad I want to die.I find that I do better if I eat something first to avoid stomach upset.
