Popeye - Movie Poster - 11 x 17

The quality is good. I wish it had been offered in a larger size, but I put it in a larger frame and it looks ok.

Got this poster (same size even) from a different site on sale with the goal of filling in the decoration behind my ping pong table, which is lit by blacklight. On AllPosters.com it was also available in orange background, and as a specialized poster store they offer lamination but usually not on something this cheap/small. In reviews sometimes people complain about the print quality of smaller sized posters but you get what you pay for. With this print and size there's neither lack of nor abundance of detail to notice, and you especially don't get the impression it's 'splotchy' and low quality like for instance a similar-sized and priced Degas and a Monet print I bought at the same time.I've got this in a display of, um, 'anachronistic pop culture, with over half a dozen small prints of similar quality, for example two 11x14 b/w stills of the Three Stooges. One of the Stooges prints glows so eerily it looks like a miniature movie screen, the other one much less so for whatever reason. To finish setting up the scene, the area in question gets plenty of blacklight exposure, and this poster is centered in the display with Curious George, an 8x10 of Betty Boop with a blue background, then the Stooges on one side and the Little Rascals and Roy Rogers on the other.I seriously doubt the available orange background would glow like this one, and together with its white areas the effect is amazing. With my little display all but one of the prints responds at least slightly to black light, and it turned out to be a good mix of varying responsiveness. But having this one in the center as bright as it is definitely gets noticed.The deal I got was (supposedly) already cheaply-priced prints, good discount code, free shipping and I'd already seen WalMart has acceptable black frames this size for under five dollars. I think the current price for this print is about what the specialty store charged during their sale, and with free shipping for even just one poster ordered is a great bargain.
