I was surprisingly please with this purchase. It is set up in such a way that you won't accidentally hurt yourself, but woe be unto the attacker that gets a taste of what it has to offer. It is beautifully sturdy and the adjustability allows me to walk with a nice straight posture with support which helps build my stamina as my spouse is in a long term care facility, so I walk and do yoga to help with my stamina as I have a bad back and peripheral neuropathy and must single handedly maintain a bi-level home, inside and out. So as canes go, I've tried others, but this one is so comfortable and safe. The walking path I use, I use at night so it helps me feel safe as I walk through a partially wooded area. I'm so glad I found it.......I would definitely recommend this to anyone and would buy all over again should something happen to this one. A great deal just for peace of mind and quality.

This is one of the best buys I have made. This walking cane has electroids on the end. Looking at it, most everyone thinks it's a design. Pushing the bottom, it makes a loud scarey noise and blue flashes come off the electroids. The sound is loud enough to scare away animals. I bought this due to packs of dogs in my neighborhood. But, I also use it as a cane going through stores and walking. I don't need a cane but this is the greatest way to protect yourself. The handle has an on and off switch. You can easily turn it on without anyone noticing you doing that. The bottom is on the bottom of the handle and you simply push it. It's very well made and stylish. I have it six months and it's been perfect.

Works great for anybody coming towards you that may harm you. They don't know it can zap you. Will be buying another soon.

A little robust but overall, it's nice and sturdy, especially for a big guy like me pushing 300 pounds. The 2-stage safety feels like it's in a quick access yet secure place so I'm not accidentally arming the cane. I love the range of the stun rod and the added flashlight feature which has already helped me on a couple of occasions.My Only gripe with this is that the charging port is also a point of shock if your pinky happens to be touching it when it is zapping, which can be rather uncomfortable and "shocking" to say the least lol. If the manufacture were to add a small rubber charging port cap it would easily solve that issue.Other than that, it's a solid buy I feel if your looking for that added non-leathal first line of defense

Makes me feel so safer, light weight, all the prongs are loud and take turns crackling and lighting up. There are loose dogs all the time, and with this, I don't have to worry as much.

Okay so anybody that uses a cane knows that they fall a lot ...they just do and you would think that having sensitive Electronics inside they would mount them in some sort of shock absorbent material they do not. They are in there and meant to break.. constantly. Another thing is I would like to know what idiot designed this feature when you plug it into charge it has a red indicator that says its chargeing.However that indicator will go on just when you plug the charging male prong into the female Outlet on the cane and it doesn't even have to be plugged into the wall so therefore when the charge done it just depletes the charge that has just been put in it unless you detach it from the cane.Now some people might say well why don't you just detach it when you see the charges done well you don't ever really see the charges done because the red Illuminatinglight never turns green it doesn't have a green indicator they were too cheap to put one inand it takes so long to charge it so slow that you don't check it all the time because you just know you're going to have to leave it on there for a few days. And it might be all right to deter a small animal but not a human being I have friends that would laugh getting zapped with that

So far so good. I haven't had to use the stun yet and hope I never have to. My husband is a 25 year veteran law enforcement. He is pretty impressed with it. I take it with me walking every day. I want to feel safe while walking and having it makes me i feel it safe.
