So I suffer from oily skin and breaking out in beads of sweat ALLLLL the time. I recently went to Jamaica and my fiancé thought I was about to pass out when he looked at me (how embarrassing) because of the beads of sweat that formed when we were getting breakfast near the kitchen.My only REGRET is that I would’ve had this with me on my trip! I applied it for the first time today before doing my makeup. I wanted to see if it would work. Like REALLY work.How I applied it:Washed my face using my daily skin care regimen. I applied this in the areas where a sweat the most which is ALL over! *not to mention I did this after coming out of a steaming shower* so continuing, I applied it more on my forehead even when I was sweating coming out the shower. I felt my beads of sweat mixing with the gel and thought “oh no it’s not going to work”...I continued rubbing it in and waited a few minutes. It dried and I was satisfied as my face felt light and matte like. I then added my “can’t stop won’t stop matte primer”. I did my makeup checking every step of the way for sweat beads and NOTHING during or after in a steaming bathroom. This is when I sweat the most on my face but NOTHING today. I went to work like usually NEVER having to dab my face or reapply my makeup which was a first.My skin type: is very sensitive and I have not had any reaction (thankfully) and it smells great!I feel it’s important to mention I’m Black and 28 ONLY because some people are skeptical when trying products if they aren’t sure works for their race and age group. Nevertheless this product worked on day 1 for me (today) and I will be testing it out tomorrow when I workout and give another honest update! #Satisfied***Update from exercising: I do stairs as a work out for 15 minutes then squats. Now I don’t mind sweating when working out because that just reminds me that I’m doing a good job HOWEVER sometimes it’s a bit much. This product definitely decreased the amount of sweat that I usually produce! No product is perfect but this product for me has been a life saver***

From the time I've been a child I've been sweating profusely which is embarrassing all the way around. My face just breaks out with sweat and as I got older, it intensified. Then, I started taking medicine for it which helped a bit and then finally after awhile that quit working. My dermatologists gave me a couple of options, one are brand new formulated pads that cost out of pocket $700 which is primarily for underarms. Even thought this problem was shutting me down and I didn't even want to go out at times, insurance refused to cover it. So my dermatologist said, she been hearing about Carpe and that maybe I wanted to try it. I'm on my fourth day of use, its been awesome. It takes me down from profusely sweating to a mild, mild state. My verdict is currently is that its awesome. ONly time will tell if it will work continuously. If you have this problem, I'd say you have to try this product and see what it can do for year. It's very exhausting to be humiliated in front of everyone to be poring in sweat. Give it a go. So far, so very good and I"m keeping my fingers crossed.

I have serious heart disease and sweat at even the slightest move. This prevented me from sweating for 4 hours, which is great to a person who has to carry a wash cloth everywhere.

I had high hopes for this product hoping that it would reduce the appearance of sweat on my face. Maybe it's because I sweat a bit too much and this product wasn't made for people borderlining on facial hyperhydrosis, but it didn't do much of anything for me.I ended up looking for an antiperspirant and stopping the sweat rather than reducing its appearance worked out much better for me so I would recommend that. However, if you refuse to use a product with aluminum then this may be worth a shot?

Unfortunately this didn't work for me. I've used Sweat Block in the past on my face, but it can be irritating and I hated the way it felt. This seemed promising at first. It is very light and forms a nice matte layer. I followed the instructions and put it under my sunscreen, but by the time I was getting my makeup on, I was already sweating. By the time I got where I was going, it was like I had nothing at all on. I tried it again another day, and it seemed to work a little better, but that day I didn't wear any sunscreen. Sunscreen is always a little heavy, so maybe it doesn't work with wearing sunscreen? I'm going back to using Sweat Block but being careful not to put it anywhere near my eyes or most sensitive skin.

I love Carpe products. I use the hand, feet, and face lotions. They work great. Helpful for anxiety, stress sweat, clammy hands and feet. The smell is pleasant.

Have only used this a couple of times but it has worked good for reducing facial sweating.I like that it is dermatologist recommended and is also a pore minimizer and shine stopping product all in one.

I used this for weddings and it really did make a difference to my sweating in the summer and humidity!
