I have never owned a 5X magnifying mirror before.. I needed a replacement because my kids broke my 3X. And this one just looked super cool, I love that it has the gooseneck , so I can install it up high on the mirror in the bathroom , and push it back up where the kids can’t get to it when I’m done using it.. I absolutely love it ! it’s probably the best Makeup mirror I have ever owned! I’ve had it for five days and I’ve only had to charge it 1 time. The light is super bright - suction is strong. Great value.

This is the handheld mirror, there is no suction or adhesion so I'm not sure why they're asking me to review that part of it. Anyway, when I first got the mirror I was impressed by the brightness of the light and the fact that it was fully charged when it arrived. After having to charge it the first time, the brightest light is now the dimmest. And truthfully I never felt like I could see anything on my face any better with the lights on because of the smaller mirror size, the lights go right in your eyes and actually detract from what you're trying to see. I still have to use my illuminated desk top makeup mirror to pluck my eyebrows. However that being said, this is a great traveling alternative

Nice and worth the money. Arrived timely, great magnification, easy to put together, do not like the adhesive on the suction cup, if the cup is good enough its not needed. Be mindful of where you place it, it can be removed but is REALLY sticky so be careful (I put it on my existing bathroom mirror & had to move it down further). Wish the extension arm was about 5" longer.

Bought this a few months ago and have been very pleased. The mirror magnifies well and has a useful focal distance. The light ring around the outside is useful and functions reliably.The ball-and-socket joint on the back of the mirror is tight and stays where it's put. The "goose neck" mounting is reasonably flexible and sturdy. I regularly pull the mirror into position when needed, and push it back off to the side when I'm done with it, so the mounting has been through a fair amount of stress with no signs of ill effect.The suction cup comes with adhesive, which isn't ideal, but since I haven't needed to reposition the mirror often, this hasn't been an issue for me. I stuck it on the glass of my "main" bathroom mirror to use for detail work, and though I've had to move it once or twice, it's still hanging in there.EDIT - The current product image is completely different from what I purchased. Changing my prior five star review to one star for the bait-and-switch.

It does stick very well to smooth surfaces. Not too impressed with the mirror clarity but it will do. 5x magnification is plenty strong, not sure who would need 10x unless they have OCD or body dysmorphia. The Led light is nice to have but it's not very strong.Wish I had known about these before I ripped a hole in my wall with a wall mount mirror.

The mirror is too top heavy for this goose! The suction does not hold anywhere, it ripped off a piece of my wallpaper on the wall, tried the mirror, the wall, the wooden shelf you name it it falls off. The mirror is too big and heavy, I ended up taking it off and just propping it on a shelf using it seperatly. Not happy camper it did not function the way advertised.

I purchased this makeup mirror so I would no longer need to lean over the sink to get closer to my bathroom mirror for more detailed makeup application. The gooseneck and power cord have the perfect length for my needs . The suction cup is covered with an adhesive layer that is protected by a clear plastic film. I wonder if reviewers who complained about the poor suction ever noticed this plastic film - I saved it to protect the adhesive suction cup after each use. Using the built-in LED lights did not seem to add any more light to my face as I already have LED lights in my bathroom. The mirror is light, but not practical to take on trip with the gooseneck... maybe without it.UPDATE: the adhesive on the suction cup leaves marks on my mirror that are very hard to remove with standard glass cleaner. I was finally able to remove most of it with isopropyl alcohol.UPDATE: I’ve been using this mirror for 3 months now. Despite having protected the adhesive layer of the suction cup after each use, the suction cup no longer works. It is not even good enough to keep the mirror standing on my granite counter top.

I would give it more stars if I could! When my found out that I bought this mirror, she laughed and said she one just like this and it always falls down. My mirror has been up stuck to my bigger bathroom mirror for over a month and I haven’t had any issues with the suction!! It also has good lighting and visibility for more focus.
