I have PCOS, and rapid, thick-growing facial hair is one of my side effects. Yay! So, i've been using everything to get rid of it. Depilatories we're great for about a year. Suddenly, out of the blue, it permanently scarred my skin. So I tried waxing. You have to wait too lonfpg between treatments for it to be effective. Did I mention that the growth on my face is thick. This was far too embarrassing for words. So I shaved. Daily. And shied away from hugging people so they wouldn't feel my stubble. My daughter complained that my face is too scratchy. Then I happened upon a review for the best beauty products on Amazon. I don't want to live without this tool. It's painful, but effective. I have a smooth face again. And I can hug my babies.

Ok I won't lie, this remover HURTS initially, but that should be expected, it's pulling hairs out!! It also takes so coordination, which I'm learning, but it works!! I'm at the age (57) where I'm getting those coarse grey chin hairs and I'm sick of having to pluck every other day to every day. I did the test patch as recommend and no redness or irritation YAAAY! The small area I did was so soft and smooth. I'm working my way up to doing more area each day. The areas I've done don't have regrowth which is great. I've used my makeup mirror and can actually see it pulling the hairs out! My last step is my upper lip and getting my eyes to stop watering LOL. Once and area is accustom to it the pain goes away. For the price and the great job this remover does I'm THRILLED!! No more waxing, tweezing or costly hair removal. AND BEST OF ALL IT'S MADE IN THE USA!!

Love this product! Been using it for years instead of paying someone else to do it so it saves money too! Easy to use and better than its competitors. You get a better grip with the bellabe design, it's kind of addicting but in a good way. Some tips: wash and exfoliate your face before using it and follow up with an anti-acne serum to help prevent breakouts. It might cause temporary redness like other hair removal processes do but it goes away quickly (less than an hour for me.) I use it before my nightly shower so the steam helps get out any junk left in my hair follicles such as environmental irritants or lint. I don't recommend using this the same day as an event that requires you to put makeup on. When you remove hair your pores are more exposed, making them vulnerable to infection. Making this a night routine (twice a month) has been more beneficial for me since my face does its healing process while I'm asleep. I've notice this habit helps avoids whiteheads/breakouts caused by hair removal. You shouldn't experience swelling but if you do, cold water or ice will help!

The older that I've gotten, the more facial hair I seem to be getting. This is not something that is very exciting to me. I've tried waxing, plucking and even shaving the few hairs that poke through. While effective, these methods can often prove to be painful and time consuming. With this facial hair remover, I was able to easily remove my facial hair with minimal pain.After ordering, this product arrived two days later. After removing it from the packaging, you see the the long spiral coil with two handles on either end. To use this facial hair remover, you hold the coil against your skin, stretch it apart, let the coil fold back into themselves and pull the coil away from your face. When you look down at the coil, you see the hairs between the coils. Simply stretching the coils back apart empties the hair from the coils. Then, you are able to start again.Despite the fact that you are basically plucking a lot of the hair out at one time, I found this to not be very painful. This quite surprised me honestly. Even plucking my eyebrows will make my eyes water. This felt almost like my skin was being pinched. No where near the level of pain that you feel after plucking or waxing! When I pluck with tweezers, I often times have to take breaks. With this product, I was able to do all of the hair within minutes without any issues or even the thought of taking a break.The one thing that I would say would be that this item is not meant for precision jobs. It was perfect for my chin, cheeks and lip area, but was not precise enough for my eyebrow. It does an amazing job on the larger jobs, but you'll still need another product to get those precision jobs such as your eyebrow. Overall, I am very pleased with this product. I would recommend it to anyone. It was a very fast and effective way to remove facial hair for the larger portions of my face.

Let me start off with saying I have PCOS. My problem area's are my chin and below it. This product does not do as it says. Before using this product I was waxing every 3-4 days, my hair is dark. This product says it will make your hair lighter and thiner which is false. If anything it made it worse. It also says you would need to use the product every 3 - 4 days. I had to use this every day or every other day. I'm growing more hair because of it. I gave it a go for almost 3 months and went back to waxing.P.S it's incredibly painful.

Holy cow. Love this thing. I am feeling awkward writing about my facial hair...but this product has been so helpful that I am overcoming my embarrassment so that others might be assured that this product is worthwhile.I have fine, blond hair but it got thicker with peri-menopause on my upper lip and under my chin. This has been super annoying and embarrassing. I have been plucking which takes FOR EVER. This tool is so fast, I use it pretty much every day because it will grab the little short hairs and so nothing gets the chance to grow. Figuring out how much to bend it and how to contort your face takes some patience, but if you just keep trying it will work. I still have to use my tweezers now and again for some random hair, but this tool has taken over most of the work.

I don't find the product very effective. I thought it would be ideal as no blade involved.

This device is awesome!! Worked well, (if you can tolerate a little bit of pain). But worth it!
