MP Heavy Duty Shade Mesh Tarp

I use this as a pine needle/debris screen above my travel trailer. Works well and I can pull it taut enough to minimze the droop. Not sure what I'll do about snow but any suggestions would be great! I'll probably take it down for winter or at least just drape it on the trailer.A previous, much cheaper mesh tarp ripped as soon as I had installed it. Unbelievable!

I used this to replace the fabric cover on my awning. Rain goes right through, but so does wind. I've set my garden up inside, so it's partially shaded. This seems to be very well built and durable. When the wind blows, it barely moves, wind can be a major problem where I live, so this has proven to be more useful than a little bit!I just wanted to add an update: 13 Feb 2017. This tarp has been so awesome in the wind, I decided to see how it held up in the winter if I left it up. We've had a couple of good snowstorms, one dumped over 6 inches. I can't vouche for more than that, but 6 inches of snow was no problem for the tarp or my garden structure. In fact, the black material and the fact that the wind blows right through it, the tarp has been self-clearing itself from snow all winter. Winter is not over, but I suspect I'll get at least another season out of this tarp. Also, it does not appear to be sun rotted anywhere. The sun here in Colorado is hard on things and I'm just really impressed with this mesh tarp and when it's time to replace this one, I'll be ordering the exact same thing!25 Feb 2018 Update: My original tarp is going on 3 seasons. It gets both hot, cold, windy and snowy where I live in Colorado. This tarp has performed flawlessly through all those conditions. I just bought and installed another identical tarp and it works perfectly, as well. I originally bought a cheaper shade tarp and I knew it was going to be problematic when I looked at it. The grommets were partially 'off' the fabric, so as expected, they pulled out as soon as I stretched it. This one will not do that! It's much greater quality and the grommets are exactly where they need to be. I built the second awning to work with a 10'x10' tarp. This one fits perfectly and for sure, this is the only shade tarp I will buy! You do get what you pay for with some things, in this case, it's a high quality tarp!

Size listed is not accurate, smaller than what it states so it wouldn’t work for me. The grommets are very cheap and already had a few fall off just opening the package. Claims to block sunlight - absolutely not. There is no difference in what is covered with this versus what isn’t. Tried to return and noticed I had to pay return shipping and 20% restocking fee. Then I requested a refund since this item is so far from being described accurately and I was denied and told I can just return it. I do not think it’s right to hold the buyer accountable for return shipping and a 20% restocking fee on a inaccurately described item. Beware before purchasing!

I am using this to cover a large stone cascading fountain to keep leaves out of the reservoir. Love the rivets and the fabric is very durable.

This is a very well made sun shade, exactly as advertised. Mine came out to the dimensions ordered, so I'm very happy. The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is because there's no way it's 70% shade. I have several sunshades from Coolaroo, and tinted windows on 3 cars. I'd say this is 50% at most. May even be 70% transmission, vs 70% shade, but it DID make a huge temperature difference on my patio. Since I knew that from the pics and reviews before I purchased, only one star off. Coolaroo is a superior product, but they don't make it in the awesome variety of sizes, and with the very secure grommets. Happy with my purchase. (Wished they made it in some lighter tan color.)

I can't stay full sun so I built an awning over my pool. I used this. Its absolutely amazing!!! You can stand under this and feel the sun's heat and then step into full sun and it feels like I'm being scorched and fried. This is VERY durable. I can look at the sun through it and not hurt my eyes, helps when playing pool volleyball. VERY weather resistant. Everyone who's been in my pool loves this!!!! Got my other 2x4x10 to attach the other end like the long side. Sun goes over the pool all day, but at that angle so I dropped that side down 4 feet. PERFECT!! OH!!! I haven't had to put chemicals in my pool for THREE WEEKS NOW!!!! My pool water is no longer effected by the rain and trash that was coming in.

I used this product in Louisiana to cover an above ground swimming pool that was getting entirely too hot by the end of the day. I sank four (4) tall posts, hung up this tarp, problem solved. This tarp allows air-flow, heat does not build up underneath it, and definitely cuts down on the solar rays. You can easily feel the difference from direct sunlight to stepping into the "shade" from this tarp. It's not a deep shade, some light gets through by design, but it is readily apparent and obvious when under the cover from this tarp. Our pool used to get to 94-95 degrees by 6 pm, like bathwater. Now it does not get above 86-degrees which is far, far more refreshing. I could easily see someone using this over a picnic area, patio, anywhere you want it to get shaded.Quality construction, very well built, heavy-duty as advertised. The grommets are large and strong, plenty of stitching on the edge-reinforcements. I can easily see this tarp lasting several summers without any issues. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Bought 3 of the 10’ x 10’ to use as roll-up snow screens on an open-front woodshed. Quality was excellent; screens were square enough to hang nicely. Worked very well.

BOUGHT LAST YEAR THE SAME TO USE AS A SUN BLOCK THIS ON WILL BE USED TO BLOCK LEAVES AND SNOW OFF MY ENTRANCE. GOOD QUALITY
