Good Pens for a good Price
When swatched these colors went down beautifully dry. They were saturated and consistent from one pen to the next, even the ones the had dripped a little in transit. When pulled with water many remained true while a few just got washed out. For the price these will be great for smaller projects and travel. My only complaint is they don’t have color names or numbers so I imagine mixing them up will be an issue if you do t mark them yourself.

Definitely recommend this set.
I really like these. Was gonna buy the arteza ones but these were a way better price so I decided to try them instead as i am new to watercolor brush pens so i diddnt wanna spend a ton of money before i knew i liked the medium. This set is perfect for florals and vibrant paintings/drawings. The only thing i would change if i could would be to take out the floresent colors and add more browns and earth tones/ Neutrals. Their are two (Caucasian) skin tones and only two brown colors. It may be difficult to draw people with deep skin tones. Other than the lack of neutrals/browns I really enjoy this set. I was a little worried that i got some that had leaked as their was ink inside my packaging but upon further inspection, none of my pens had leaked. The swatches I included dont show how well they dissolve and blend in water as its not a very good paper (its the arteza premium sketchbook and its terrible) i will add another pic of swatches once I try them on 100% cotton strathmore paper. Overall I definitely recommend getting these because they are so fun and alot less messy than traditional watercolors.EDIT: i added the swatches i did on 100% cotton paper, and the markers work amazingly on the watercolor paper.

Works great! Lots of colors! Easy to use!
I am experienced in water colors, I really love how easy these are to use! The photo is my first try with these pens, I feel like I will use them a lot. Some reviews say their markers were dried out.. I watched YouTube videos, one helpful tip if your pen is "dried out" take your water brush and squeeze some water onto the tip of the pen.. and the ink will come out of the pen.

Company and product are amazing!
*Original review.* “Was really excited to use these. Took them out, set up everything to paint, then the waterbrush COULD NOT be opened. The plastic handle (which is the reservoir) is really cheap plastic, and you can feel it being stressed when trying to turn it. Extremely disappointed.”Update:So, not only was I contacted immediately by the company, but they sent me a complete replacement set, when in reality the only issue was with the Waterbrush.Everything works perfectly. The colors are vibrant, the paint is easy to apply and the waterbrush is fluid and easily controlled. Painting with this is a lot of fun with no mess. No excuses to bringing out your creative side again. This company has proven that their customer base matters and thankfully they’ve produced an incredible product that is a pure joy to work with.

Good for beginners
I have no basics at all for water color painting. I decided to buy this along with several other water color products. It's not hard to use and the color is water-soluble. There's various shades of color and perfect for beginners. Easy to use.

Her favorite art supply
Of all the many art supplies that I have bought for my granddaughter, this is by far her favorite and most used. They are pricey, but she loves creating art with them. The subscribe and save is the best value. I set autoship for every 6 months to get the best price.

Great value nylon tip brush marker set for WATERCOLOR
TL;DR: buy POETIQUEEDIT: I had to come back later and amend my original review to 4 stars because this set doesn't have a good YELLOW. It does have a nice mild yellow orange color, but the other two yellow colors in my set are both very pale (the other is neon). If I want a true yellow, like canary or school bus, I have to pull from another set of markers. after buying about 5 sets in similar price range, I think Poetique is best, just FYI! thanks!i've had many sets of markers in this category, and these compare very well. I originally gave them 5 stars because the tips are all consistently made and perform well, no splitting of the bristles like some brands I've seen. They aren't as long as some other brands, which could be good or bad depending on your purpose. If you want to do caligraphy this will probably make these easier to use than many other sets in this category as they're a bit firmer than other nylon tip sets. The biggest reason for 5 stars overall though, is the overall solubility of the ink. so many of the reviewers for markers like this are using them for coloring, but I wanted a watercolor set so I'm looking for markers that lay down color that will move with water. I use Strathmore Visual Journal (90lb) and the ink these markers put down is absolutely DREAMY. it moves so well with water. I just returned an Arteza set that cost 50% more than these because the purple colors wouldn't move well. The only drawback I experienced, which I did see other reviewers comment on, is that some of these are dried out a bit when I first opened the set. It's true. But also very easily remedied. Is at on a conference call for work and used a brush and dripped 6-8 drops of water into the bristles of each marker that wasn't nice and juice. Let it sit tip-up for a bit to get the water down into the barrel, then I store all my watercolor markers flat so they're ready to use. This made each brush marker good as new, and it was easy to do as I was creating a swatch and checking out all my new colors anyway.all in all, this set was one of the least expensive I found in this category at Amazon and it had the things I cared about most: consistent, quality made tips and ink that is perfect for watercolor. Five stars from me.
