I do deliveries and wanted a wireless phone mount with autosense that I could quickly take my phone in and out of while using GPS. Well, the autosense works great and the quality of the mount seems fine however the wireless charging function doesn't work well at all. In fact, even though my phone says it's fast charging, the battery actually still goes down. This is an issue because I need my phone charging as I'm using it. Not sure if it's defective or because my GPS is on. But I think a main reason to mount your phone is so you can use it safely while driving like for GPS or music, etc.

Unfortunately for me, it looks like I lost my ability to return this product to Amazon. I was planning on returning it, after I used it for the first time on a long trip in my car. However, I considered that I may have not had the QI coils properly aligned during my trip, causing it to not work properly. Because of this thought, I wanted to give the product one more chance to work properly after adjusting the phone placement on the cradle. Unfortunately, that additional trip to give the product another chance, cost me by ability to return it to Amazon. If that's not true, please let me know. As far as I'm concerned, this thing doesn't work properly when used in the intended application.The PROS:It looks cool with the chasing colored lights.The clamp holds the phone very well when it works.The clamp will release the phone when the button is pushed as long as there is enough charge in the device to do it.The suction cup material is very sticky.The arm works fairly well.It works well for very short trips.It will charge the phone when the phone is in standby mode, not doing anything.Power off clamp actuation works well for at least 5 minutes after power removal. This is a good feature.The CONS:It overheats my phone during charging. This is a serious problem with the product; more on this later.It doesn't fully charge the phone while the phone is in use. More on that later.The clamp sometimes fails to close; don't know why, and there is no way to manually close the clamps when it fails to close.The suction cup fails to hold sometimes.The colored lights are not visible when my phone is mounted to it.The colored lights are barely visible, if at all, during the day.When the arm is fully extended, my Galaxy S8 with its Encased protector is too heavy for the suction cup.I use my phone for navigation and hands free telephone conversations. If you can't use your phone for navigation and/or phone calls during long trips, then what good is it to have a charging clamp? Navigation is a power hungry function; I can keep my phone charged up without overheating by using a standard charging cable during navigation. I need a clamping car charger that mounts on my windshield so I can glance at the navigation in progress. The way I look at this type of product is that it should keep your phone charged up, during use, and that it should not overheat the phone, causing the charging function to stop.The biggest problem I had with the product was that it overheated my phone. I could live with the other issues, but the overheating problem is a deal breaker. The product works okay for short, local trips where power consumption is not a big problem. However, it fails miserably for long trips where navigation is needed and it is necessary to maintain phone charge level. When starting a long trip, it would work fine, but as time went on, the phone would slowly discharge, and the overheating would start up. I would get repeated notifications of overheating and charging stoppage. It was so annoying that I would disconnect the charging cable from the product and plug it directly into my phone to stop the messages. Removing power from the clamp disables the QI charger, but keeps the phone held in place. This product would slow down phone discharge, but it couldn't keep up with the power drain caused by the navigation app.Sometimes, when the product was powered up, the clamp would fail to engage. This would be frustrating, and I would then not be able to use it to hold the phone. Don' know why this happened.Of course, the inside of a car is hot on sunny days, and sometimes I would find that the product had come off the windshield after being parked for a while. More than once, It flew off the windshield while driving and during a turn.The colored lights are cool looking, but are invisible during the daytime. Also, the phone covers up the colored lights when you have it facing the driver. Therefore, this is just a useless fancy feature.I found that my Galaxy S8 in the Encased protector was too heavy for the suction system with the arm fully extended, and resorted to supporting the weight of the phone on the charging cable.In the end, this product does not work for me. I can use it for short trips, but why would I need the charging feature for short trips? If it doesn't maintain charge, or overheats my phone during long trips, I can't use it. If I could, I would return the product.The main side effect of my experience with this particular product is to be wary of other wireless chargers for use in cars. This one failed during long trips where it was really necessary to maintain charge throughout the trip, while using navigation. If you are only a short tripper, then this product will work just fine for you (But then why would you need it to have a charger?). If you expect this product to work under all kinds operating conditions inside your vehicle, then this product will not work for you.May I return this product for a rebate?

It's super easy to install in my car!I can understand other cars.I like the feature that the installation will open and close with touch of a button.Wireless is the way of the future!I like that because we have all kinds of phones in our house, so it's hard to find a universal charger other than a wireless one.Your vent should be stable because it can be heavy between the phone and the base, so you don't want it to fall off.But if the vents are tilted, the installation is adjustable in rotation, so it's fine when I drive far, as I navigate with my phone.

Impressive! Good strong design. Unfortunately our Volvo dashboard is not smooth enough to permit the suction cup to hold fast. Mounts fine on windshield and air vent.

This wireless car mount is nice and charges quickly. The touch of a button to release the phone is excellent design. It makes it easier for me to operate my mobile phone while driving, and it can also be used in the air vents. In short, it's value for money. I will recommend it to my friends.

Sturdy enough to hold your phone while traveling on rough roads. Yet it’s gentle & won’t tear up your cars air vent or dash, with the vent clips & suction cup. Also it charges pretty fast for me. It’s worth it!
