These trains are too expensive.

Light doesn't work
Just received Proteus and discovered that the light doesn't work. Not sure if the toy is defective or simply needs a new battery. However, since this is a gift I don't want to tear open the packaging to find out. Am very disappointed and felt that this should have been checked prior to shipping since there is a small opening at the top where one can try it out.

Purchased this for my grandson and he loves it
My grandson playrd with a new friend who had Proteus. All we heard for weeks after was how he loved Proteus and "needed" one. I ordered 2 so he would have one at home and one at my house. A happy child is a wonderful site!

Thomas Friends - always great

Good quality Train!
These trains are very well made and feel like they will last for generations. They are made out of sturdy wood and thick plastic.
