I've purchased 3 or 4 of these Prodiamant Diamond Cutting Disc 230 x 22.2 mm 10 mm Professional Segment disks. I've used them for cutting a very hard shale rock using an Angle Grinder. I needed to cut a channel 15M long by 450mm wide and 150mm deep. The channel was close to my house so I couldn't use a rock breaker.... The job had to be done using angle grinders and I managed to burn-out two of my collection of 5.However the disks performed excellently and lasted a long time and cut well by wetting the stone.I would definitely recommend these Prodiamant Diamond Cutting Disc 230 x 22.2 mm 10 mm Professional Segment

I bought both 5" & 9" cutting discs & what I liked was the easy they cut through drystone walling. (see my image). These will easily outlasted the carbide ones.

I must admit I gave this disc a very tough job to do. I needed to cut a few 2" thick concrete slabs that were made in the days that weight didn't matter!They coped quite well but needed plenty of water to keep from getting too hot.They were far happier on the bradstone coping slabs I also cut.Overall, did the job asked of them and as it was a one off task not sure on how they would last long term.

Used for cutting slate for making a patio. Has cut loads of slate, some up to 2 inches thick, still got plenty of life left in it. Brilliant cutting disc.

Don’t waste money on disposable discs these ones are great.

Excellent cutting disc, I bought it to cut old council slabs( very strong) cut many and it is still strong and cuts through very quickly.Highly recommend.

Complete waste of money doesn’t cut Indian sand stone slabs I refitted the old blade back on just to get a bit done
