Can this be used on the hot grill as a burger press?

You use it to make up your patties not cook them... I put a piece of wax paper in the the press, press it down then put the meat in and press it . then you have your pattie on the wax paper easy to transfer to the the grill. The top handle is wood you could not get it hot. I dont know how the metal would do if it got hot .

Quick and easy to use, just add favourite ingredients and press. I made fresh burgers for my kids. But they still want to go to McDonald's, so I realised they go there not for the burgers, even homemade burgers are much better.
