Takes dye well
Experimented with fabric dyes, fabric markers and alcohol markers. Also Derwent Inktense pencils. The light blues make some interesting greens when blotchily mixed with yellow and green dyes. My goal is to make my own variegated ribbon, and this stuff works very well. The fabric markers worked best because I could control the color a bit more. I scribbled blotches of ink on a white ceramic plate. Then I put the ribbon in a pile and spritzed once with a coarse spray of water. I lifted the ribbon up and down a few times to help scatter the water drops around. Then I laid the ribbon around on the plate colors, lifting it up and down, also pushing it around with a toothpick. I was after a very uneven and blotchy color and that's what I got! The only thing is it will dry much less intense than when wet. This same method would prob work with alcohol markers and an alcohol sprayer, tho I didn't get that far. Inktense are labeled as waterproof when dry, but in my experience a lot of the color will lift even after drying completely. These are the fabric markers I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYH5DU4?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Great quality . PAY ATTENTION TO SIZING.
I purchased the beautiful teal green color: size 7mm. The photo above is zoomed in and makes the ribbon appear extremely large, white that I thought I would be okay with the 7mm. When I received the package it was teeny tiny , not what I expected . Though that was my fault I just worked with what I had since it was such a beautiful color and fine silk ribbon . I appreciate how it came with a good amount of 10 yards ! Shipping was quick and I will definitely order again but in a thicker ribbon size . The have a huge selection of beautiful colors to choose from and im sure you will love them too.

Very nice silk ribbon
The ribbon is tiny and is of good quality silk. It is a great size for pendants. I ordered 2 colors and will order this again and in more colors and more sizes. I wish that is didn't come on a plastic spool as that is hard to recycle and negates using natural fibers to construct an eco-friendly product.

Color not as expected.
Color is not at all as pictured. It's more like a very pale salmon pink. It's certainly more pale than this seller's "pale pink." I had chosen "pink" to get a stronger color. The ribbon itself is super thin and very flexible. Lighter weight than other ribbons I've embroidered with, but a nice texture.

Not an expert, this is a layman’s opinion
Nice but not strong. Loose weave that is fragile when used in ribbon embroidery.
