Is this good for covering a mic to record music?

Hi They work ok. But not really thick enough unless you double up etc. I assume you are recording sound at home. I use a company called Vocal Booth To Go and I have made my own vocal booth with their blankets suspended from a frame. Ive cut out approx 7db from my room noise so now I record in around 17db. Pretty quiet. Hope that helps Simon

How many blankets do you get for the price?

Not sure yet, they are expected to arrive in 3 weeks. I was led to believe that it is for a single blanket, I ordered 3.

How heavy is a single blanket?
