My kitten was ALWAYS trying to drink out of our water cups, so I thought we’d give this flowing water bowl a try because moving water stays fresher. She loves it!It looks nice, is silent when the flower is assembled, and was as easy as it gets to get put the filter in and get it going. Highly recommended. I had sworn I would never review another amazon product. However, that issue has nothing to do with this product. It is great! I bought it to encourage my elderly cat to drink. She likes to see water poured directly from the refrigerator to a glass and into her bowl. Lately, she has taken to jumping into the tub to drink directly from the faucet. We were afraid she would get hurt; she's too old to jump in a tub. Okay, on to the fountain. At first, our kitten played in the water. She would stick her paw in, but when she tried to drink, water would land on her head and she would back off. My elderly cat ignored it entirely. Suddenly, things changed up. Now they drink out of it so frequently that my husband has to refill it every few days. One thing I am impressed with that I don't think the seller even mentioned is that it keeps the water cool. I don't know how (and no, I didn't drink out of it, lol) but cold, like a fountain for people. I would give this fountain more than five stars if I could. We haven't had it that long, but it's well worth the money so far. Please note that it took a little patience: One thought it was a toy and the other nothing of interest for the first few days. Now it's a big hit! Cats like moving water (per our vet) and they certainly love this fountain.

Update at the bottom. It arrived on time, it works fine, it's very quiet when full and doesn't splash, easy to put together. However my cat won't drink out of it. He gets in the tub and plays with the water in the faucet when it's not shut all the way, comes out of it all wet. So I bought this for him so we can keep them out of the tub. But now he refuses and drinks out of his bowl. Cats are funny.Update: 12-28-2020, I didn't refill his bowl so he eventually had to drink out of the fountain. Worked great for 15 months then the pump died. I liked it as product I'll buy another one. The rest of the unit is fine it's a shame to buy a new one when all I need is a pump.

I only hear the motor if it's really quiet in my apartment and I'm listening for it. Plus, I like that it'll tell you when the water level is too low. My cat still hasn't gotten used to it yet because he's very finicky, but if he truly doesn't like it, I know my mom's cat will love it.UPDATE 2/5/20: I had to give it to my mom's cat because mine refused to go near it. Her cat loves it, but as the water level gets lower, you can really hear the water trickling. My mom said she can hear it from the next room over. I do like that I got a free gift for registering the product, but I don't like that I had to leave a positive review to get it, so just be aware of that when you see so many positive reviews. For the fact that my mom's cat is now drinking more, I would say the purchase was well worth it.

The cat really liked the fountain while it lasted. The first one lasted about six weeks, then stopped completely. The replacement lasted about two weeks, then stopped completely too. I was very happy with it while we had it and it was nice they sent free filters. Unfortunately, maybe it was my bad luck, they didn't last.

My kitties took to this fountain right away and love it. I like the nightlight in it and the window hat shows the amount of water in it. Easy to assemble once you know how, but it does not come with instructions. Not too hard to figure out though. Silent-doesn't make a sound from the motor!

It has been really hot here this year so I was excited to get this Pet water fountain in. With the way it circulates the water I knew it would keep it cool! This pet water fountain is really well constructed and very easy to assemble. I really like that it comes with an easy to follow instruction manual it made assembly quick and easy! The light on the inside is a nice feature as well it allows you to see the water level very clearly! The water pump on the inside is very sting and circulates the water very quickly allowing the water to not get hot! All around I was really impressed with this pet fountain. it is definitely worth the money!

The cat seems to like it, or at least seems to be fascinated by it. First day of use. Waiting to see how much time elapses between refills. Easy assembly. List of items mentioned a switch, but none was in the box. No indication in the written material or on the box indicating how to determine when to replace the filter. Star taken off for that. Hopefully, the pump will last a long time. Time will tell.
