The camera comes with clear instructions and seems simple to assemble. I plan to use it outdoors, and I appreciate that it includes night vision. It feels sturdy and matches the description and photos perfectly. Great price as well.

The Anpviz 4MP Dome Camera was very easy to setup and get going. Included in the box was the camera, mounting screws, weatherproof cable shroud, camera warning sticker, and instructions.Instructions were clear and easy to use, nothing confusing. If you have ever used a network device, this is a simple device.The camera uses DHCP by default and my NVR ( ExacqVision Pro) found it with no problems. Because my system is older, I was forced to use ONVIF and H.264 and it works without any problems. If your recording solution can use H.265+ you should take advantage of it. This camera also has motion detection settings to further limit recording space needs.The web page camera configuration was easy to use and understand. There are several settings for image adjustment, network changes, user management and so forth.Camera is light weight, but seems to be built very sturdy. Die-cast aluminium body and dome cover.The images attached are using the default camera image settings, with exception of minor adjustments to the focus on the lens.Accessories, Porch night, Porch Day, and picture of camera mount location and adjustment focus ring. Wide dynamic range does almost nothing, but I’m hoping for an updated camera firmware to resolve this.The lens can be adjusted but you need to know what you are doing, and I have prior experience with such things. It was a very minor adjustment for the focal range I wanted.The IR illumination is more than adequate for this particular shot, and it does illuminate quite the distance.POE power was near instant and really makes this camera worth every penny.For the price range this camera is a valuable solution for home and small business use.Purchase date was 6/18/2022 - $42.99 This is a great deal.

This is a nice simple POE camera that does exactly what you would expect. I can confirm that it works perfectly with blue Iris. The mic sound is better than other ones I’ve gotten in the past, but of course, don’t expect High Fidelity audio.

I have a selection of cameras hooked up to Blue Iris running on a PC.I needed a new camera for my garage, as the back door of the garage is a bit of a weakspot in terms of entry.This mounted high up on a wall, looking down. It can also be mounted on a ceiling etc.When installing, ignore the tiny manual that it comes with. It is not accurate. The camera is setup for DHCP, so as soon as it powers up it will get an IP address. There is an app you can download that will hunt for the camera on your network. Blue Iris detected the camera very fast, using ONVIF.I work with pro-cameras and the image quality is excellent, and there are a lot of adjustments you can make. I still don't get very good night-vision, but I don't think the settings are right.Note that the camera is NOT a PTZ camera. The sensor can be moved inside the dome but it's over a limited range and once it's set, you leave it alone.It's been running flawlessly for a month, which is a lot better than a lot of the budget cameras I've tried!

This camera does what it is intended to do. The day image is great, however I would suggest going with a step higher in cameras due to some quirks. If the camera is close to a wall, the reflection of the IR emitters will be too bright on the wall and the entire image at night is washed out. I also noticed this camera occasionally disconnects when looking at the POE settings in the NVR. I have 2 of these cameras and both do this. The one without walls near it works great in low light.

Robust construction and good picture quality, but unfortunately the web based configuration requires Internet Explorer, which no longer exists. It won't even load in modern browsers.This means you can't do basic things like set the time, flip the picture, configure the OSD, etc. You also can't enable the more interesting standalone features like motion detection and you can't use the mobile app if you wanted to. It wasn't detected as an ONVIF camera either so I have to assume that's something you turn on.This is also a privacy concern because I have no idea what sort of data this camera is uploading to the "cloud" and no way to turn those features off. For all I know it's streaming everything to a 3rd party.It's working fine in Zoneminder for now but I'm probably going to return it because of the above concerns.

Awesome quality! Night vision and HD nice and clear. Build quality is good too. Web interface is easy to use. Adjustability is good too.
