Real Quality and Metal
No comparison to the other brands. The feel is real quality and metal. Easy to change blades and has a used blade keeper built in the handle. Only thing is there is no way to store an extra blade, but with the snap off blades I guess it's not necessary. 5+Stars

Good tool, one thing I wanted to clarify
I just got this tool and it's basically met my expectations I had from research and review videos. The locking blade lug knob is a little more difficult to to manipulate than I anticipated but conversly you don't actually have to sinch it down with a lot of force; once it's past a certain rotation the blade lever locks and will not accidentally slip one direction or the other. It's also a tad heavier than I expected but it's a natural consequence of having something more durable. There is one thing I wanted to clarify; some Snap Blade Tools have a side compartment or channel to store one or two spare fresh blades. No where in the product description did it claim this tool had such spare blade capacity but given its size and weight I had entertained the notion it might. As far as I'm aware, it does not, which is fine, but I wanted to mention it if anyone was also wondering.NOTE - I'm not refering to the disposal compartment that safely holds used blade shards; this tool does have that feature and it works just fine asside from a little bump in the front that doesn't align with the contor of the handle perfectly but thats trivial and will probably fix itself with use wear or I could sand it flush if I get anoyed. Here are some Search Terms to help people researching: Extra Blades, Spare Knife, Razor Compartment, Replacement Cutter Slot

A solid tool for the kit
I wanted something like this because I was cutting heavy wallpaper and needed use a sharp fresh edge to get clean cuts with no tearing. Every few cuts, I'd snap off a section and keep moving on.It seems like most of these type of utility knives are get smaller and flimsier. This Fiskars is substantial so you can get a good hold on it and press hard for a good clean cut. A great feature is the thumbwheel that holds onto the blade to keep it from pulling out or sliding back into the handle. A lot of the cheaper snap blades seem to depend on a slider that is supposed to sit on a saw-tooth edge to keep the blade in place, which for me seems to work very poorly. I plan on having this one in my tool bag for a long time.

Sexy and Dangerous
When my thumb slides down the blade positioner over the slender, curved body of this well crafted snap-off razor blade an electricity fills the air. User and onlooker alike feel a visceral thrill as the deadly sharp blade slowly and violently clicks out of it's sheath. Much louder than the competition, each step forcefully extends the matte steel blade, and an increasingly loud echo sounds from the well-balanced handle. Each additional notch is an act of joy, lust and terror. Truly a memorable experience for all.The wheel lock is a little sticky.

Sharp!
Stays sharp and works great. Only downfall is small pebbles and get stuck in blade opening making it difficult to open

Best utility knife on the market
By far the most robust built unity knife I’ve ever owned. It’s comfortable to hold and work with. The build quality is great. If you prefer the brake away blades this is the best choice. The tool made into the handle works great for breaking a new edge on the blade. The blade lock is handy as well. I would recommend this tool to anyone who needs a breakaway blade knife.

Piece of junk
Used this knife to open boxes, my personal purchases. Used a few times, blade started sliding out as I was cutting cardboard. First time I thought I might not have secured it. But it kept sliding out, very dangerous. I Sent e-mail with pictures to seller, no response. piece of junk and dangerous to use. Stay clear. Buy a cheap on at dollar tree, will work better!
