Finally a handle that works!
The original was a similar line whose handle was pronlematic from the get-go, many years ago. After exhaustive research and digging, I determined that this one would fit the odd angle of the original, more costly flush handle. It does, thank goodness! Flyshes like a champ every time. Funny how the small things can make life so much more enjoyable.

Direct Replacement for similar part
This handle was a direct and exact replacement for the broken handle on our toilet. There is a small plastic bit that helps keep the handle functional and it lasted quite a while for the original piece before breaking. If Kohler had made this bit metal, you'd never have to deal with it, but that's another story entirely.Shipping was quick, part was perfect and easy to install.

Does the trick if you've got the right part.
Our Kohler handle deteriorated in time. This replacement part did the trick to get it working again. I'm not much of a handyman, but was able to put this in myself. Just make sure you get the right part for your toilet tank.

Best choice, & plenty of reservations
* best choice to avoid incompatibilities.* hard to distinguish among the numerous number of toilet models and variety of handle designs and alterations.* don’t understand why it’s L. H. thread?!* as mentioned times before already: shame on Kohler to use a flimsy plastic threaded shank. Whatever the design rationale may be, they certainly can enhance this area. BUT this would result in less revenue from the very (highest?) profit aftermarket business segment.
