In the photo, it appears that there is some ivory detail around the mirror frame. Even upon clicking to enlarge, the photo clearly shows that the frame has lighter, flowery, ivory-colored detail around the mirror which I particularly liked as it matched my curtains in the rooms where I wanted to hang it. But very disappointed upon opening the box. The color of the frame is monochrome (one color). If you scroll down to the VERY BOTTOM of the posting, the mirror is shown in a different light and the monochrome color of the frame is apparent. This was not made clear upon ordering so I am having to return it. This mirror is also very heavy...does not seem like a lot when reading in the description that its 27 lbs but make sure you have a couple of correctly-spaced studs in the wall where you want to hang it. Most studs these days are not properly spaced every 16-24 inches (contractors cheat on materials) so check first to insures your wall can support it. Finally, it did not pass "The Matilda Test" - she didn't like it either.

Prettier than the picture. Well made. The mirror is beveled and it is exquisite . I would order this brand again.

The mirror is stunning. Absolutely beautiful.I took one star off because it is very heavy but also because I bought one that was at a reduced price, and Amazon's listing said it was a return but it was not damaged. Not true! When it got here, i didn't even have to open the box to know the mirror was in pieces. It rattled inside the box and when I attempted to open the package, small shards of glass came flying out the bottom. Good thing I was able to return it and replace, albeit with a full priced one, so beware of that.

EDIT: Have to downgrade to 2 stars due to poor workmanship. When attempting to hang the mirror, the metal loops in the back turned out to be 1/4-inch out of alignment. Really?! Had to move one of them lower to correct. Also, on closer inspection the frame isn't carved from one piece of wood or molded from whatever, but instead a bunch of smaller pieces (all the finer details) appear to be glued to a larger simpler frame. The problem is that the smaller glued pieces are not aligned very well (sometime slightly, sometimes quite obviously crooked) and in a couple of places are not flush with rest of the frame, so there are small gaps all around the frame. I'm tempted to caulk the gaps, but I don't think I'll be able to match the paint. Disappointing, but can't return it as I already discarded the box it came in. If you don't mind the sloppy workmanship, this might work for you.-----Original review (before I hung the mirror):Looks awesome. Exceeded expectations. Antique looking, old English style. This mirror came broken, not once, not twice, BUT FOUR TIMES!!!Held up my paint job, it was a disaster.

The mirror has beautiful detail work. It is the perfect size for my small bathroom where I hung it. I get lots of compliments.

The mirrors are perfect & exactly what I was hoping for! Top notch quality...I just hung them in my bathroom and already getting compliments!
