Excellent minimalist shoe
Excellent minimalist shoe. Great to run in, great to walk in. Thin soles allow excellent feel of the ground/road and full motion of the foot. Zero drop heal is physiologic. They are as close to barefoot running as I need to get without actually running barefoot. The mesh will make it cooler in the summer, but it is fine for dry winter days, too. Great shoe.

Shoes look as expected and generally fit as expected. The bottoms are pretty thin, which is fine if you want a very minimalistic shoe. The one thing I found that was interesting was that the front of the shoes were pretty wide and then tapered down a bit more as it approaches the heel. It just means that I have to make sure that the shoes are tied tightly.

Really, really good minimal shoe-- and doesn't look goofy
This is a minimal shoe, so be mindful of what you're ordering. The fit is snug everywhere but the toe box. I'd like a bit more room there, but my toes have room to splay properly. There is no arch support and the tread is ~3mm, so you'll feel the ground nicely. Merrill Vapor Glove feels thinner by a hair, but I'm happy with the sensory input. The tread is nominal-- I've run technical trail in these and so long as the ground is dry, the traction is good enough. Muddy hills/rainy runs would likely be more slippery than I'd like. The soles will NOT fully protect you from "sharpies", so steel yourself for the occasional pointy stone stinging your foot.If you are just transitioning to a minimal shoe, be sure to take your transition slowly. It will take a good couple of years for the ligaments and tendons in your feet to fully adjust (the muscles will adjust faster). This is a really good shoe, but it can't stop you from hurting yourself if you think you can just go out and run 6 miles the first day. (Maybe you can, but I venture to say you won't run again for a while!)

I put them on and yelled WTF?
I ordered the red ones—what I received were shoes that were red with a white sole and yellow laces. With these I wouldn't look out of place at McDonalds... handing out happy meal prizes to toddlers. They seemed comfortable, but not as comfortable as LEMSshoes.I sent them back 30 minutes after receiving them.

Probably the best minimalist running shoe
I've not tried the Evo Pure before. They were better than expected. I plan to order more, just to ensure I have some when these wear out in a few years (or less). I do not like to purchase shoes online, but Vivobarefoot is so hard to find I decided to go for it.I had problems ordering from their U.K. based website, but they have a great fitting tool to get an idea how the shoes will fit you.I used the tool and ordered here on Amazon. Very pleased.

Great fit, poor construction
Update after six months:Even though I still like the fit and feel of the shoes I need to revise my score downwards because of very poor durability.I solely use these shoes at the gym. After about two months the first tear started to appear where the upper connects to the sole. Four months later, both shoes are torn at the front and at the heel. They're still wearable, but not sure for how long. Very disappointing given how much these cost.Very happy with these shoes. They run a bit small lengthwise. Width is more than ample.Love the flexibility of the sole. Ground contact is perfect.

Get 'em while they're hot!
These things are awesome, to say the very least. I've been into barefoot shoes ever since the FiverFingers, but these are a little less discrete and a little more stylish. On top of that, they're built very well. The quality of this shoe is phenomenal as far as its material composition. It's upper mesh composure matched with the hex-grid stitchless lamination is nothing short of superior. I wear these everywhere since they're easy to slip on and super comfortable even for daily use. I love this shoe and you will too.

pleased with that
As advertised, pleased with that. The concept is to be "natural" so wider fit , little arch support expected. Have been using over rougher terrain so thinner sole also taking a little getting use to. But once again as advertised.

These are great shoes very comfortable
These are great shoes very comfortable, light and well ventilated. Although you can see light through the uppers, these shoes are very strong yet flexible. These shoes also provide very good grip.

Our favourite running shoes! Colour slightly darker than pictures. Five stars
We absolutely love these shoes. I bought a pair of ladies vivobarefoot one running shoes and after one day or wearing and running in them I immediately bought a pair for my partner. My feet always used to hurt in normal trainers and when my brother suggested barefoot running shoes/zero drop shoes I wasn't sure, but I did some research and took the plunge and now I will never look back. I can run faster for longer without my feet hurting at all. My form has improved and they are so light and airy they are a joy to run in!I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who runs and is thinking about barefoot style running. The colour is slightly more orange than appears on the pictures here but a gorgeous shoe and we are really happy with our purchases!

WOW!
