I have bought similar before, but found useless because once applied, tilt the item towards the light, and the address etc, is still their. So i gave up for years, but on this years Black Friday i noticed this one was being well reviewed, people raving about it. So i went for it, thinking surely improvements have been made, going by people's comments anyway. Nope, it's just the same, why people see anything positive about these, i don't know. It's just the same, covers text, but you can still see your address etc, i tried all ways, why these thing's are on the market is beyond me. It's nicely made, smooth to use, but that's not the point, it's for security, useless!

I found that some address labels such as Amazon's are too shiny and this will not totally obscure the address. They do warn about this but still, I wish they can find a solution.

this is a great little product that's easy to use.

Great better than shredding and a lot less time

Muss mich leider den anderen Rezensenten anschließen, sobald die Tinte getrocknet ist wird der Text darunter wieder lesbar, wenn man das Blatt ein wenig ins Licht hält - und das, obwohl ich eine laut Hersteller geeignete Papierart verwendet habe. Sollten entsprechende Dokumente also wirklich in falsche Hände fallen, lenkt man erst Recht die Aufmerksamkeit auf die sensiblen Daten.Das Produkt ist damit für den beworbenen Verwendungszweck NICHT geeignet.Einziger Grund, warum der Artikel nicht zurück geht:Ein anderer Rezensent empfahl die Verwendung des Rollers um Barcodes unleserlich zu machen (anstatt z. B. bei Retouren den alten Adressaufkleber entfernen zu müssen), dafür werde ich ihn auch einsetzen.
