I am not a professional videographer, but I am very happy with this product. I have several other gimballs, but due to the balancing weights on them, not the best thing for a hiker trying to lighten up. This one is lighter and smaller than my other gimbals, works well. No....I do not think the tension like system is as effective as the weighted systems, but for the purposes that this gimbal seems to be built for, they did what I consider an excellent job with it and it fits my needs perfectly. Have had it out on several hiking trips....very happy with its performance and ease of carry.

If you're like me you love videography, planning a shoot and loading up all your gear then coming home with awesome footage is a lot of fun. However, what's not fun is missing something that would be amazing to capture on video because you left your camera gear at home. This product fixes that problem! The portability of the vlog pocket is the absolute best feature of this gimbal.I shoot a lot of video and have purchased another gimbal from FeiyuTech in the past (G6 for GoPro) and both that gimbal and the vlog pocket feel high-quality and work amazingly well. The only problem with the G6 gimbal is that I still sometimes would think it was too much of a hassle to bring it along on a quick trip with friends or too bulky to be carrying around all day without a dedicated camera bag. But since owning the vlog pocket I can definitely tell that it will become something I carry around all the time. Why? Because with the pocket you no longer have to remember to charge your gopro or your other camera, then also charge the gimbal, then also get your lenses, then also make sure your sd cards have space, then upload footage to your computer, etc etc etc... the list goes on and on. By using your smartphone with the vlog pocket the only thing you'll have to remember is to charge the pocket and then bring it along. Your phone is of course going to be charged and you will know instantly if you have memory space. With a good camera app you'll also be able to edit all your videos on your device. Convenient!Using just the smartphone and your vlog pocket you can take amazingly steady footage that looks professional for any social media posts or even youtube videos. Not only that but the price itself is very reasonable, even a steal once you consider how much you'll actually use it. I love my g6 gimbal but honestly I've probably only used it 30-40 times in the past year. I would not be surprised if I end up using this vlog pocket almost everyday.You can't go wrong with this gimbal, I think you'll love it just as much as I do.

Im actively using since first day i had, battery life is looong enough, holding large phone as like iphone xsmax perfectly, bluetooth connection is strong and not missing any button orders.Item built it up with quality gyro system and sensitive motor movements and smooth and strong holdings. While video capturing with fast walking is way better stabile quality than i expected.

This product is awesome for smartphones, It's just the perfect size and necessary controls for your vacation video to look a lot better, I really loved it but for GoPro 7 I tried with a special holder (Maybe I needed to try with those more robust holders with more weight compensation, I tried with a cheap one) It didn't work, I tried with just the go pro and the motors vibrate a lot when tilting. So not for GoPros 7 but outstanding awesomeness for Smartphones.

This is a neat little device. It prevents my videos from being bouncy. Works as expected but you have to get used to the buttons. The gimbal stays out of the way even in wide angle on my iPhone 11.

It's great product and works as advertised. I enjoyed using it for small films for robotics but this last week I noticed that the bottom motor was making an odd rattling noise each time I turn it on. I don't know is this is an issue I should be worried about.
