Not robust enough for kids
It had a tiny leak on the seam before any use. We decided to use it anyway and kept topping it up with air. However, after a few hours of use both wings had been ripped off and the whole thing deflated. The problem with the wings is that they offer easy leverage for children to haul themselves out of the water. It would be better if the wings were sculptured tighter to the main body which would limit the leverage potential. I wouldn't recommend this product for children. It wouldn't last the day.

Great and completely pointless in equal measures!
Since we started camping regularly at a site with an outdoor pool for the kids to swim in, we've acquired a collection of inflatables of different shapes and sizes. This is one of the best, looking very vibrant and impressive, and with handles that make it easy in theory to sit on and ride. The colours and overall design are attention-grabbing and a lot of fun. However, after multiple uses of floats like these on camping holidays, I have to confess that for my children at least, the appeal is limited. They seem like a great idea in theory, but in practice you spend more time blowing them up than the kids do using them. This is a very UK-centric review. On a tropical beach holiday or a particularly hot pool, I'm sure you'd get more use out of this, but during British summertime, the sun needs to be particularly hot for there to be much appeal to sitting on a float in a swimming pool. This is well-made, attractive and fun. It's not a must-buy and you probably won't get a lot of use out of it, but the quality of this flamingo is high and it delivers exactly what you'd expect.

Great fun on holiday or at the lido
We have a wide range of inflatables - from lilos, to rubber rings, to dolphins, but this is our first flamingo and she is great! (My kids have named her Nelly for some reason!) So she is much bigger than I had initially expected (and so takes a bit more puff than I had anticipated), but she is worth it for the fun. We took her to France recently (she packs down quite well) and she had fun in the Eurocamp pool and we have recently taken her to the lido and that was perfect on a hot summer's day floating on the pool til you are warm enough to dive back in the water! It's not the most practical thing for the beach I wouldn't have thought, but great for pool fun for the kids (and maybe small adults, but not me!)

Great, but brief, fun... Just don't let the English National Football team loose with it!
Great, but brief, fun... Just don't let the English National Football team loose with it!Yes, you get a giant (and it is big, even against an adult frame) pink inflatable flamingo, in a rather swan like swimming posture. There are two blow-points one in the head & neck; which kept its pressure and the other in the posterior... Yes you have to inflate this thing by blowing into it's bottom... Yeah, great look. However, the body area simply did not keep it's pressure and these two pictures were taken just 15 minutes apart at rest, when you're flinging it around in the pool (or our case hot tub) it goes down a lot quicker. But we had great fun, we adults, and the little ones got to sit on it too... It's quite characterful and we do like it, just disappointed it deflated (yes the bungs were all in properly) as though it had a slow puncture.

Good fun and seems sturdy
This is good for holidays abroad as some inflatables are massive and correspondingly heavy. They eat into your luggage allowance. This flamingo only weighs just over 1kg so it’s fine for a holiday abroad - it’s less likely to put you over your baggage allowance. It’s a good size in the pool for young children.I really like that it has handles for children to hold on to, for stability. They seem pretty sturdy. The material is relatively thick which is reassuring. It also comes with a repair patch. When we go abroad, we take spare Bestway patches with us as they are cheap. At the time of review, this costs £18.33.It’s a decent inflatable.

Loads of fun!
I managed to blow this one up by mouth without passing out, which on the hottest day of the year is quite an achievement! It's got two inflation compartments, the main body (with a slightly larger valve) and the head and neck which has a small valve. The neck has handles to help you climb on top of it and stay there. Great fun in the pool, I hope it lasts the inevitable rough treatment. I'll report back when we get our first puncture!

Fun inflatable flamingo
This is a fun, pink plastic flamingo and ideal for large swimming pools and when on holiday. There are two valves - one that inflates the neck and head and the other for the main body. I inflated this using a hand pump and it took serious arm muscle to inflate fully. Nevertheless, this toy is stunning (see photos) when full size.It has two white plastic hand grips to hold on and is spacious enough to seat two young children. It deflates quickly but it is a struggle to replace into the cardboard outer after use.As with all these pool inflatables, it would be handy to include a hand pump and a mesh storage bag for travel and portability.

Good quality inflatable ride on flamingo, but very expensive.
This is a large vinyl inflatable pink flamingo, ideal for large outdoor pools. The vinyl is thick and appears very durable. It is big enough for a child to sit on and has handles for them to hold onto. It is recommended for use by those aged three and up, but they should be confident swimmers. I personally would not leave a small child unattended and you should accompany your child whilst they ride on this in the water.I do think at almost £18 however, this is very expensive for what it is, as you can get similar products for half the price. I would not buy this at it's current list price it is not worth it.
