Don't let the word child in the product description fool you into thinking this is something only for a kids room. I bought this to help organize my closet and just received it. I am very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the materials and the roominess of each pocket. I guess I was expecting small pockets to hold tiny baby items since this was listed under nursery hanging organizers category. Once I opened it up and did the minor assembly of placing cardboard into the pockets inside each level and placing a cardboard bottom I started thinking of all the possibilities for this item. I'm going to order one more to use in my small guest bathroom that has no storage space to hold hand towels, extra toilet paper, soaps and cleaning supplies. I am going to get another to place into my teen son's bedroom to collect all those odds and ends that usually are laying all over the place. This could be used in a kitchen that has little storage for items you might usually put into a drawer. It could be used in the entryway to collect keys, bills, items the kids need to take to school. You could hang it in a laundry room or garage for extra storage space.The tan material is neutral and not at all something you would expect to find only in a babies nursery but it works for that also. The price of this item is a great deal.

They do the job. I've had them for a while and they hold up decently but are really better suited for lighter duty. The heavier the stuff, the faster it'll wear out.

Perfect for organizing my two daughters clothing for the week. It fits a shirt, shorts, pair of socks, undies with room to spare. This week they have a three day cheer camp and the first bin holds tomorrow's outfit, then another outfit stored for Wednesday and the third bin holds Thursday's outfit. When school starts, I will be able to put their school uniform for Monday on their dresser, and have the rest of the week organized in their pockets. No more scrambling in the mornings! #MOMWINI used large command hooks to hang it on the wall behind their door, instead of the door hooks. The holes are 5/8 inch wide and the large hooks fit well, probably not the extra large hooks. I will update if they fall, but it has been a week and seems sturdy enough for lightweight summer outfits. My daughters re-purposed the pink plastic door hooks as hooks to hang things off their bunk bed.The whole thing is 13 inches wide x 36 inches tall. As you can see in the photos, two fit pretty well behind the door with an inch or so in between. The pockets are 5 inches deep at the top, 3 inches deep at the bottom. And the pocket is 7 inches tall.One thing is I wish they had more options with additional pockets.

I was a bit disappointed with the quality of this product. The day I received it, I tried to put it over the door (empty) and I broke the over-the-door hook. Whaaaa!I found contact information online for the distributor listed on the packaging (not Amazon since I was the one who broke it) to find out if I could purchase or get a replacement part. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. I explained my situation to an associate and within a week I had a new part in-hand -- at NO additional cost to myself. Wowee!I think, given the flimsy nature of the hangers, I would not recommend putting anything weighty (like batteries, shampoo, etc.) in it. It does not list a weight limit... but I would guess it can only take a couple pounds (though I've not tried to stress-test it). So that is a bit disappointing for me as I had other items in mind to put in it when I purchased it.I think it could be good for lightweight mitten storage, hats, empty grocery bags, teabags, extra toothbrushes, stockings, socks, small stuffies, flip-flops, gift bows,small washcloths, etc. But keep in mind that it is hung over the door and is not very tall -- a child could not access these cubbies (which could be a plus or minus depending on what you want to put in them). I am short, so I think this will not be as convenient as I envisioned (my problem, not a product "defect", just something I think worth mentioning). Would not withstand a kid tugging or hanging on it (though I'm sure the manufacturer wasn't envisioning that when they designed it).There also is not a lot of distance between the compartments, so nothing tall or inflexible will easily go in/out of these slots. They show baby lotion and diapers in the picture, but i think the shampoo or lotion would be kind of heavy and hard to get in and out of the pockets.It was kind of fun, quick, and easy to assemble without any directions... and did fit over my pantry door. They are cloth pockets with little cardboard inserts for the bottoms and sides of the compartments. Nothing fancy, but adequate.Overall, it's cute, but NOT durable. Would do the job for space-saving for lightweight objects.Be careful when placing over the door not to put too much pressure on the hook, it will break!

Got 2 & they both fit perfectly on my bathroom door side by side. Able to store a lot & make room in my closet

I LOVE this organizer. My daughter's dresser is limited on drawer space, and now that she is potty trained I had no good place to keep her underwear, but one of these pockets works great. I also use them to store her shoes, so they're no longer all over her floor. I still have one pocket open, and have yet decided what to put in it.A lot of people complained that the hooks either broke right away, or the door wouldn't close with them on. I guess there is a big enough gap between our doors and the top because they close just fine with the hooks over the door. Her closet doors used to be bi-fold but I modified them so they open like french doors. They fit on the inside of the door perfectly and the door closes just fine with it. For such a simple product, it has added so much more storage room to her closet. So far the hooks seem pretty strong and durable, especially if you keep pretty light stuff in the organizer. I did pick up some Command hooks like other users said, but so far we haven't needed them.
