This book serves as an excellent history of gay and lesbian theatre through the 20th century. I would happily rate it five stars were it not for the absolutely terrible copy-editing in the Kindle version--frequently lines are offset, there are a legion of misspellings, and there are an entire three pages in Love! Valour! Compassion! where every line is attributed to Buzz.

Didn't purchase this from amazon but borrowed from library. Extremely informative and provides a great over-view of LGBT play-writing evolution. a necessary book to preserve important history.
