Do not lift up thinking that you can put them back down and they will stick!The carpet tiles came as advertised and arrived quickly. They stuck well when first laid down. However when we pulled them up to vacuum and mop the stairs, the adhesive no longer sticks to the wooden stairs. They are worthless now. They slip all over the stairs and cause more of a slipping hazard for us and the aging dog that was falling down the stairs. (When the tiles were sticky they did help this situation, if they were actually removable and reattachable, I would rate them 5 stars.) We did not wash them and waited 4 days after mopping to put them back down on the floor (directions say 3 days). I feel Ike I read advice on reactivating the adhesive somewhere, but I cannot find it now. I’ve reached out to the manufacturer (weeks - maybe months ago) and have not heard anything back. Very disappointed, I would love to find a way to reactivate the adhesive and get these back on my slippery wooden steps.

I like these treads and they look great on our wooden stairs. Only problem was some of them moved around and I was constantly adjusting them into place. Some did stay situated, but very few. I ended up tacking them all down with very small half inch brads with flat heads. I vacuum the treads occasionally and haven't run them through the washer.

I am usually conservitive with 5 star rating however this product deserves it for the quality of product and durability. It is worth the investment.

These are not fancy, just a plain carpet tread. They stick and restick well. Easy to wipe clean and vacuum. I’m happy with my purchase. I haven’t fallen down the stairs since I put these down

I bought these for our wooden boat steps so they wouldn't be too slippery for the dogs--and the humans. I did not want to tape anything down. Unlike ANY of the others I have tried, these actually stayed in place!

These Stair Treads are well made and stay in place. We have an English Springer Spaniel and she goes up and down the stairs with no movement in the threads. They clean up very nice. I would recommend these to anyone looking for stair treads.

These stair tread’s are easy to install they work extremely well, and my only objection was they were a darker gray than I truly desired, but all in all they are just fine.

Our dog goes up and down the stairs with ease. My elderly parents awesome liked them. Easy to install. My daughter did it within minutes. Easy to clean. Perfect. I couldn't have ask for a better product.!!
