Bessie Bakes Soft Concrete Replicated Photography Backdrop 2 Feet Wide x 3 Feet Long 3 mm Thick

I should have asked questions before I purchased this product. This product is a photograph of a surface and not an actual textured surface. It was described as being a "Physical board" with "Realistic textures and colors", and I made the assumption that the surface was physically textured. It is not. it is a nicely printed and mounted photograph of a concrete surface. The shadows that define the texture are "baked in", so to speak. They are not going to change with the angle or quality of the light that hits them. I did not expect an actual concrete board, but I expected something with actual texture and depth. In re-reading the description of this surface, I concede that I made the assumption that it was something else. I should have been tipped off by the "High resolution" description. However, high resolution can describe products other than photographs, and I interpreted this description incorrectly. I would not even be writing this review if I could find anywhere in the description where the seller indicates that this a flat photograph of a concrete surface. It seems that this is a crucial detail that should be clearly stated. and I think that this should be made absolutely clear to buyers. Since it was my error for making an incorrect assumption and not asking questions, I will not be returning the product. However, now that I know this, I will not be ordering more. I would hope that the seller will improve the description to make it clear as to what the product actually is.

The durability remains to be seen. It is fairly sturdy for being light and slightly bendable. It says to transport it in the plastic sheet it came in so you don't accidentally scratch it. You can see the printing dots up close, but I doubt you'll ever get that close in a photograph. The images are fairly true to actual color, exact or slightly under exposed. My quick example shot is a bit overexposed. I was wondering why I got the concrete instead of the marble, but the concrete looks pretty good with stuff on it. I wish I would have gotten the marble too.It is a little pricy, but if it lasts, it is definitely worth it. It certainly looks good and is a nice size.

I love the backgrounds - I purchased 2 different ones. They are a little more expensive than what I normally purchase for backgrounds - I hoping they will last through all my shoots. Sorry I can't provide photos - client confidentiality.My only comment is I wish they were bigger. But great find!!

Product arrived packaged nicely. Background concrete design is nice! Photographs well. Board is light weight and easy to move from room to room as needed. Seems like it will hold up really well over time.My image was brightened some..concrete design is a little darker when originally photographed.

These backdrops are great for product and food photography. They're lightweight, easy to transport, and beautiful! They're more expensive than other ones on amazon, but definitely worth the price!

A very light gray concrete look. Works well and is lightweight. Wouldn’t mind if they were made a bit larger even but good size for tabletop product photos.
