With this kit there is no need to drill, cut, or modify anything on your motorcyclet. You just easily trim the provided sheet of mesh to match your vent openings. Once trimmed the installation process should take about 30+ minutes. The mesh has a diamond style pattern. This is very popular in the motorcycle scene. The mesh will not restrict airflow into your engine or any other componets on the bike. The diamond mesh pattern has opens of 1/4" by 3/8".
