How’s best to hang it I don’t have the bar set available?

I don't have the hanging bar either; I use tape to secure mine to the back of my kitchen return but you could tape it to lots of different surfaces or walls.

The colour states white but the picture looks very pale grey. What colour is it in person?

It's white with a grey/black wood grain pattern so it looks pale grey from a distance. The photo they've used is really accurate :)
