Top Qualiity Radio
Roberts RD60 Revival DAB/FM RDS Digital Radio - Union JackWe are unable to use this radio to advantage at home as we have as yet no digital signal in our area but purchased the radio for our boat on the Scottish West Coast where the DAB signal is strong. We have now derived much enjoyment from using it (especially for sports broadcasts). It is such a good looking sturdy little radio and the Jubilee version looks most attractive as it goes with our boat's Union Jack.I would also like to point out that its very late delivery was no fault of the supplier, Hutchinson's of Cheltenham, who had marked the parcel "FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY" with note that should be left with a neighbour if we were out. (We were not out.) As soon as I made a fuss about non-delivery we were told the carrier "could not find our address", which is ridiculous. We were asked to supply a telephone contact. We received no call but the radio was delivered immediately from City Link's depot in Inverness. We are convinced that no attempt at deliveyr had been made before and that the parcel had been overlooked at the deport. City Link have a poor reputation and this sort of thing has happened with them before. Hutchinson's would be better to find another carrier. It is is not Hutchinson's fault delivery was delayed and we thank them for sendng us this excellent produce. I hope Hutchinsons will not be penalised in any way for late delivery.

LOVE THIS RADIO!
I brought this as a gift for my partners birthday and he totally loves it - to be honest I do too. It not only looks very cool the sound quality is excellent, as you would expect with Roberts its really well made. The radio was brought to go into his 'mans room' but I now want another one in cream to go in our kitchen. In fact I'd have one in every room as I think they are really nice additions to the decor. Very happy with my purchase!

Always the best
You can't go wrong with Roberts Radio, this set is beautiful and nicely made. Not quite the standard they were in the 70s but still very good if a little too much cheap plastic for my taste. This of course is DAB but also has normal radio. My daughter is 16 and has it in her room where it takes pride of place next to her record player. The whole retro thing is coming back and she plays her radio and records and I feel like it's 1975 again. Very happy. She even has LPs from 70s bands to make me feel better too.

Our first DAB radio. Wonderful sound for such a compact unit. It looks good too. My wife set it up and told me that it couldn't have been any easier. I recommend this radio.

Does not work
The product arrived very quickly, so no complaints there. As it was bought as a birthday present, the box wasn't opened until The Big Day several weeks later, whereupon we discovered - to the great disappointment of the giver and the birthday girl - that the radio did not work. It was stone dead.I called Roberts' helpline to report the problem. Without a trace of remorse and nothing approaching an apology, the woman on the other end told me that it wasn't their affair, I would have to return it to the seller. Fair enough, but it would have helped to draw the sting if she had said something along the lines of "Oh I'm sorry to hear that" instead of treating my as if I were a nuisance caller. The seller has agreed to collect the faulty radio and provide a full refund, so no disrespect to them. But opening a British-made product (with a Union Jack design to boot) and finding that it is a dud was reminiscent of my childhood in the 1970s. I thought we'd stopped putting things that don't work in boxes and selling them to the unsuspecting public decades ago. Perhaps best to stick to Japanese after all.
